  1. A good craft place could easily work there. The tickers of Leicester gave Sommar a good go but if you can’t chat beer or do small talk, it won’t work. Plus the decor was crap.
  2. Spot on! For those saying that under Kinng Power the club has become a better resource for community relations, like local charities. I remember every season, from when I first started watching us from 02/03(as a seven year old), the club giving a grand to around 19-23 charities a year. The number denoted by either premier league or championship home games. Each game, the chosen charity(some very specialist) would get a spread in the programme and a chosen player promoting it. One of my parents ran one of the chosen charities(think they got Stearman); the money and publicity had such an impact.
  3. Iversen won’t be going to Derby, as they look set to sign another keeper now. Let’s hope he overtakes Ward in the pecking order now.
  4. Iversen is a far better goalkeeper than Ward. But neither are good enough for us next season, albeit we would have stayed up with Iversen in goal for the whole of 22/23.
  5. Anyone done a Sunday Roast in the Cheney Arms in Gaddesby before?
  6. Fancy using corporate tickets as the metric to measure the club’s relevance to its fan base.
  7. Back in Leicester now but head to East Anglia 2/3 times a year. Where you recommending north of the Waveney?
  8. Yes and considering most of my interaction with Adnams will be with their bottled beer in the supermarkets, it’s no surprise I’m slightly disappointed.
  9. Yes, certainly better in my experience. They always have a few temporary beers on keg, that are not bad considering they’ll only be on for a few months. I ran past it this morning, I have been before for a meal but unfortunately too late. Noticeably not Adnams, if I’m correct.
  10. Drinking in Southwold this week. Lord Nelson is the most pleasant pub but I don’t think any cask pint I’ve had, has been in perfect condition. Taking away nostalgia that Southwold is for me, maybe Adnams is very average.
  11. Yes, went after the England Denmark game. It’s okay, the food was nice but maybe a bit pricey and it’s hardly a great experience inside. But that could just be my inexperienced interpretation, regarding Vietnamese food.
  12. I think they’d also demand something in the region of 20million, money can be better spent in other areas. We do need central midfielders but I don’t think Skipp represents value for money.
  13. Our first signing from Welwyn Garden City, wow.
  14. 5 miles around Southwold, down to the Harbour and back into town. Lovely weather too and lots of runners.
  15. Nah, that shirt was worn between 2003-2005 I’m sure with alliance and Leicester, 125 Loros one was 2009-2010.
  16. Yes, definitely a youth shirt. Would have been worn during an academy game, possibly reserves but can’t remember whether they had alliance and Leicester, or walkers Like the academy.
  17. Most likely match worn but was a youth shirt. I believe Walkers sponsored Youth shirts during this period.
  18. It’s cold, it’s hard, it’s the truth.
  19. Don’t look for excuses, we have underperformed for the majority of this tournament during games, despite getting through, largely because we’ve played inferior teams.
  20. I was quoted 35 pounds by Uber on Wednesday from town to near Western Park and nearly 45 pounds on Saturday. I should really be less lazy.
  21. Possibly in Southwold, so that’ll mean plaice and chips on the sofa, as I don’t think Adnams pubs show football. If not, at the real ale classroom basement in town, which has been a superb venue all tournament.
  22. If we don’t end up shifting a centre back after re-signing Vestegaard and signing Okoli, I’ll be very annoyed we don’t spend money on O’Riley.
  23. Think he signed contract in 2020. So all he’d done was play a few games when Chilwell was unavailable. I certainly agree he didn’t benefit from Rodgers.
  24. 6 years for Luke Thomas still wasn’t as bad as 4 years for Matty James circa 2017/2018 time.
  25. Because the club was actively trying to sell him throughout. He’s not to Vestegaard’s level of passing but then neither was KDH or Ndidi etc.
