Really don’t enjoy the pretend hype- almost concourse like behaviour when England score. And this is coming from a 29 year old who averages about 30-35 live matches a season. There will be other factors that support an increase in shirt sales. Most successful period in our history, consumer preference for actual shirt buying, fanbase has increased and non-fan sales too. I don’t believe gold would be a factor.

Personally I prefer just blue and white, nothing else. I think it looks tacky but then if enough people like it and it becomes tradition … However, I don’t think there are enough people who like it to warrant its inclusion.

Personally believe every decade should be celebrated, maybe not to the extent of 125 was but I think a relative nod to the past is worthy.
