  1. Don’t care about other clubs. We’re badly run and in the mess we face because of ourselves. The ownership group and directors have to take the blame.
  2. He’s gone, we’ve got to let go unfortunately.
  3. Was speaking to one of my mates who doesn’t support City but a different city, who is expecting a baby. He lives in Leicester and was bemoaning his season ticket prices and how he will not be able to take his kid that much in the future. We then talked about local offerings for football within walking distance of Leicester, there aren’t many but I feel like that’s the next step. If a Leicester(not Leicestershire) based football club makes a go of it, we could see some excellent attendances and somewhere that Leicester folk can watch football, without the extortionate pricing.
  4. It was on the website annoyingly last night, they’ve just paraphrased it into an article so I imagine the media team are just being their efficient selves!
  5. Weirdly the interview has been taken down now, was hoping to watch it this morning.
  6. He’ll do well, the A46 will be named Steve Cooper Way in a few years time.
  7. Went to the Vietnamese place on Churchgate between the matches yesterday evening. Food was decent but the mark up must be huge.
  8. Hopefully Serbia don’t even get a point throughout the whole tournament.
  9. Quite happy with Cooper, it could have been worse, it could have been Potter. We are a badly run club and not an attractive proposition for many potential managers.
  10. Cask bitter in a freehouse was about 6 quid!
  11. King Power want Leicester City to be a global brand that is recognised under the umbrella of King Power, fundamentally being a destination for people from all around the world to watch Premier League. They also want us locals to bow down to their friends and family like we are absolute nobodies and have made no contribution to the club’s history prior to 2010. The behaviour on the bus parade and at the Blackburn game, was indicative of a hierarchy that the ownership group wanted to bring to Leicester City. I can’t be bothered anymore.
  12. Sure it was mentioned in Norman Davies’s history of Europe.
  13. Some pints in Blakeney and Cromer!
  14. Those wondering why individuals want to vote for Reform. You only have to see the downward spiral of Blue Van Man since Covid, that indicates the effects of Covid lockdown and increased internet use, making quite ordinary people increasingly paranoid about things that aren’t important.
  15. Ran from Cromer to Sheringham this morning and back. Just over 7 miles in just an hour and 2 minutes. Fantastic sun with the sea breeze.
  16. It is! My grandparents lived here, so I used to come to Norfolk once a month for quite a substantial period of my life. Popped into their old village (North Elmham), visited the old chapel/later castle ruins, which was quite nostalgic. Staying just outside of Cromer.
  17. I am in Norfolk this week, hence my asking! Fancied reading something appropriate to where I am staying. Will go and have a look for the sort of recommendation, tomorrow!
  18. Watched England game at the Real Ale Classroom last night. The seating was far more comfortable in the basement and there thankfully wasn’t any of the typical England tournament fan making an uneasy atmosphere.
  19. Ah that’s pretty cool, very organic friendship.
  20. I really like that some Leicester fans are friends with some Bochum fans. But I’d like to know how the initial interaction happened. Was it random or planned? I’m still not certain whether the initial clubs are just coincidence, or whether Leicester and Bochum actually matter.
  21. An absolute rubbish footballer. Get some cream for your acne.
  22. Any recommendations for a biography of Lord Nelson?
  23. Played for the club before I was born. But the fact that older generations talked about him as that ‘great’ loan signing, was indicative of his impact at the club. I really enjoyed listening to him on the Undr the Cosh podcast, where his personality and general warmth, shone through.
  24. Absolutely no way they could afford him.
