You might be right but let’s see him with a run of games in that position, however he might not even get a run of games!
-
It’s hard not to like him. I think the signing fee agreement would be between 6-7 million, for me if he puts in another 7-10 starts(out of remaining 20 league games) and performs like that, it’s a no brainer. When we consider the fees we’ve shelled out for Soumare, Silva, Ghezzal and others similar in the premier league, he might be a smart buy as a rotation option. However, it’s a big ‘if’, as to whether he can play in the amount of games I’ve listed, due to others being available and most importantly, his own availability. Nonetheless, even if he doesn’t sign permanently, he’s not a bad player, it’s just not worked out for various reasons.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff
westernpark replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
Initial contractors went bust during Covid, who were managing the whole project. We have to also remember that Vaughan College is a listed building, that has needed works. Council have been very unlucky, it will be great when finished. But you’re right, we need to start shouting from the rooftops about our 2000 year plus history, Snottingham don’t have that to shout about. Nonetheless, I’m certain Jewry Wall will be a catalyst for greater awareness when finished. -
I’m sure Lingard’s loan just ended. He started on a short term loan, which was extended by a month.

Especially when the games around Christmas Day would have been available to stream via Amazon, and not Now Tv.

Absolute nonsense.

Yes I bought a couple of them for others, so I was pleased to get one myself!

Mill Hill Gift Set.
-
Yes I agree we’re the better side, it was just a point that it doesn’t mean we automatically go to Portman Road and win on Boxing Day. Not that you were insinuating that
-
Yes the logic was that we shouldn’t be complacent against either.
-
Well we’ve already lost against one of them this season.

He’s not that good. I personally believe it’s a Calum Wright, Josh Knight situation. -
LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
westernpark replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Always brings me back to the story of Ukrainian refugee vs Brentford 2022(august). Plenty of spare tickets, he explained his situation but was made to buy a membership on the day of the game. -
Yes ‘Kristiansen’ and ‘as’ were missing before the word collateral!
-
I think Ferguson could be got for 12-15 million in the prem, or even partly use collateral. I take commitment over any potential ability after the last couple of seasons in the Premier league. He doesn’t have to start every game either
-
We weren’t a joke between 2008-2010!

LCFC must offer General Sale to fans

I also wonder if this is stopping people who are feeling knackered and apathetic as season ticket holders, from giving up their tickets. They can then give up their season tickets, knowing they can get to the odd game still. I have no doubt that encouraging general sale, improves the atmosphere, in the short, mid and long term.- 682 replies

Feel sorry for Dan Iversen regarding the Ward situation, there’s no way he should be behind him, even for a symbolic place on the bench

I think Sheff Weds are a better side than Rotherham, since they’ve had their new manager.

As much as I love Leicester, it is most probably correct that we are becoming a very poor city, which is in part a result of some more recent immigration and leaders burying their heads in the sand regarding its effects. Of course the city is also terribly underfunded, hence the very responsible (in financial aspects) city council having to use the remaining reserves to cover bills. Everyone is welcome in Leicester and instances like the Ugandan Asians and other groups are key epochs in the city’s history, which have only benefitted us. However, we are losing good quality premises to be only amplified by fosse park because much of Leicester’s population does not need them. Harrimans, Cank Street Gallery and Niche have all gone in the last three years or so, places I would have bought a large number of Christmas presents from. I am in the city centre 3/4 times a week and have not been inside the high cross except John Lewis since May time. I currently live in Western Park, majority of surrounding houses are 450k plus, pushing towards 650k, people don’t like going into town when I talk to some because the walk in is horrible, Narborough Road etc, so they get in their car, they realise it is easier to drive to Fosse Park(I don’t drive). I went to Nottingham last week and was reminded of the high quality centre shops in comparison to ours. The train station is being funded through central government, but the best way to improve the train station would be to sort out Granby Street. For 75% of people that is their first impression of Leicester. I would attempt to remove the carnage, ban takeaways from using Deliveroo and Uber Eats(this can be done and is done in some parts I clarendon park, making them use their own delivery service), remove the cycle lanes as well.

He is lethal at this level and I hope Maresca is the manager to push him to perform in the top division.

Front three, plus KDH and Ndidi looks far more fluid with Daka playing.

Two really enjoyable goals, according to flash scores, Birmingham are edging possession!

Can’t see it happening for the money quoted in January.
