What the original poster was inferring to without considering municipal arrangements: as Leicester is ever expanding, are those on the border of the city merging their identity with the city, or county. Well this is certainly how I took the question asked.
-
Yes I am aware of that thanks.
-
I still wouldn’t consider this one of our own.

Thurmaston, Wigston, Oadby -City Syston, Groby, Anstey - County Blaby is more difficult.

I didn’t say that, I just said it’s up to you who you support. Of course we need the county support but I don’t connect people who are from Leicestershire as being from Leicester, I’m trying to make the point that the areas are incredibly different. We have a catchment of the city, county, Rutland up to Peterborough even, parts of Northants. I just don’t identify with someone from the county as being one of Leicester’s own! You support who you support, a lot of people have great stories as to why they are Leicester fans, and they’ve not even been to the city!
-
Well yes, it’s all about opinions. We take the recent great TIFO by UFS, meet me at the clock tower is a Leicester thing but people from the county may have also done and said that. However, I think living in Leicester is the qualifier for me, someone like Lineker or Matt Piper(although an Arsenal fan) perhaps! A lot of people from the county are born in the LRI. I have lived in Leicester all my life but going to school in the county made me realise how different people’s identities are. The reason I always say this about KDH, is that people assume because he runs a lot it’s because he magically cares about the club more than others who don’t, I don’t see it that way, it’s his style of play and his engine is an outstanding part of it. He may care more or less about the club than others, but we shouldn’t use his running as an indicator of this.
-
Well it’s up to you who you support, I just have never bought into KDH being one of our own. Other people may of course, which is fine! It’s all dependent on how you identify with things and that’s a personal preference. He’s a good player for us nonetheless and is a great academy product.

Let’s hope so!

As someone born in Leicester(not Leicestershire), and always lived in the city I don’t consider himself one of our own. However, I understand those who have not lived in this great city, to think differently. He’s a committed player on the pitch and we desperately need him to start every game in this division. My opinion on him not being one of Leicester’s own (Nottingham born), is not a criticism of his ability in the Championship.
-
He’s not one of our own, but has been near excellent this season. However, I don’t think he’s a Premier League player.
-
take out kDH and you have a valid point.

Will be interesting if it remains a wet pub, personally I hope they don’t end up doing food.
-
Was always gonna happen when Alex left. They want to standardise the whole BCA estate, so it’s sellable to a bigger pub chain.
-
We’re not too bad, I don’t think we’ve been at our best but as others say another 45 of that should see the correct score line.
-
Was he walking home from college?
-
Bit harsh on Fulham that.

Dean Smith appointed head coach at Charlotte FC

His son plays for a team in South Carolina too. -
He’ll be injured by then.
-
If he lost he’d probably blame the supporters in an open letter on the club website, whilst deflecting from his own mistakes.
-
Yeah decent is the best word for it.

I tried the Woolpack a few weeks back. Service wasn’t great but food was good.
-
They’re both bad really. I feel a tinge of sadness when I think of the Bruxelles building and its potential.
-
He’s being used in a system alongside midfielders that we could have only dreamed of last year, technically sound and physically committed. Your last sentence isn’t wrong.
-
They wouldn’t be able to hear each other speak in QOB at that time on a Friday. But to be honest for a decent bar I’m struggling in Leicester, so it’s not the worse shout.

After having hired Rodgers, Emery would never have been attainable. He only joined Villa because of their spending power.
