  1. That’s life unfortunately. There’s more than enough time for Alves to turn this around. I think as a fan base we just need to temper our expectations of him this season. Nelson is the breakthrough player this season.
  2. The question is, why are you called Huddersfield fox? But yes commiserations, even in Leicester, Leeds fans seem to have appeared.
  3. *Snottingham?
  4. I haven’t applied for as many as you but having the same luck whilst looking for that career job. Having to do some unpaid work in the field I want to work in, it’s not ideal but since I have started that and put it on applications, I’ve had more success. I did really well at University, even won postgraduate academic awards but my experiences have indicated how pointless a degree is on its own. Good luck.
  5. Portland NEIPA in R&D, pricey by Everards standards but one of their better Keg beers of recent years.
  6. He might be onto something as our window cleaners have retired.
  7. Does anyone have anything positive to say about Sommar?
  8. There’s been a fella running around Western Park in a Leeds jacket for most of this week, with a right grin on his face. I forget how many glory supporters there are from the 60s and 70s, of that club.
  9. All Rodgers needed to do was either play Soyuncu ahead of Amartey(who to be quite honest was not as bad as some make out), or played Iversen ahead of Ward, we’d have gained at least two extra points. Forget Fofana, this was on Rodgers.
  10. Probably doesn’t help that Trident has failed twice in its missile tests.
  11. Genuinely think, despite them being a London club, this is the most mainstream coverage Palace have ever received over the last few days.
  12. Don’t think Cooper plays the style of play that Sunderland ownership wants.
  13. It’s purposefully slow, allowing the opposition to start moving towards us creates space in behind, he then either plays it to Winks or moves it between the lines.
  14. Blue Screen of Death appeared, attempted to restart and couldn’t. Computer will switch on but nothing appears on screen and won’t even load up Safe Mode. Help!
  15. Hope he captains us one day, his redemption arc is quite simple and it involves not being managed by Brendan Rodgers.
  16. For the second goal, felt he could have taken a touch and gone with the ball, rather than wait for throw in. It was a poor performance but he has been great this season.
  17. I don’t care about the result really because the atmosphere was massively improved. For the first time since Covid I could legitimately understand the words of what L1 were singing, Union FS were great as they have been this season. However, I sit in A2 and people were joining in, singing where it was neeeded. I hope it carries on regardless if we face jeopardy on the pitch, in Enzo we trust.
  18. Trust in Enzo.
  19. He’s an intelligent footballer, happy with his performance today.
  20. Iheanacho is one of my favourite players of the last few years, I understand he is marmite for some but even as a fan I don’t think he should be ahead of Daka, Cannon or Vardy now. Shake hands and move on at the end of the season, of course if injuries happen then he can come back into the fold as cover. We’re lucky to have our four strikers at this level.
  21. We trust Enzo. He was awful in the Premier League under Rodgers in his first season but that was clearly down to the manager playing him in the wrong system. He never played in the Premier league in the second season and fair play for him taking on Rodgers in the press, he deserved it. A two year deal on the same wages or even a slight reduction would make sense.
  22. As a comparative, felt the atmosphere was better than Swansea at home, exactly two weeks ago. Union FS were superb and some attempts from other parts of the ground. Was great to sing Enzo’s name a bit more, positive that it’ll catch on by the end of the season for the whole stadium.
  23. This bloke is something special, was genuinely pleased that there were more attempts to sing his name than last time at home. Also noticed him doing the Pep special and pulling Bannan over after the game to give him some praise.
  24. That was my favourite episode so far! Perfect length of time for a slow 10k on Sunday morning. Ballague was far more understanding towards those fans who don’t get the football, I certainly didn’t until around October/November time. Albeit, I was still in awe of Enzo at the time, given our number of wins. We need to sing his name more at home, that’s clear from what was said.
  25. And then his brother too…
