Great to see him run off the bench and celebrate the last minute goal! His attitude is faultless, there is still a chance he has a future here.

The football is boring(largely) but can’t help but warm to Maresca. Football is about moments and that Winks goal, along with his last, is what it’s all about. I think mentally that will set us up nicely for some easier fixtures at home in the coming weeks.

Yes and those games would be throughout this spell, we have a week until our next game. Fatawu didn’t play start against Watford. Im not trying to disagree with your point tbh, I’m trying to argue (albeit unsuccessfully) that Fatawu was unfairly dropped.

It was more based on his comments regarding him in the press this week, I think we need to play our best players against West Brom, I’d rather be rotating against, Plymouth, Rotherham and Millwall which are all at home.

That’s good for the club because he looks like he will just spend it down the club shop.

Think Fatawu is being punished by Maresca ala Rodger’s style, one of our better players but the manager is using him as a scapegoat. I’d have Mcateer over Mavididi and Abdul on the right.

Yeah that always baffles me with how they get service! It can be fun in the concourse but it’s just more of a moan as to why it doesn’t carry on.

Yeah it’s more that for me, he’s an older fella clearly nearly 80, as are a number of them sitting there, these are not the fans to be having a go at(not you). I’m 28, how many times do I see people my age or younger in the concourse jumping about and pissed, then during the match then they’re on their phones checking betting or generally filming. Criticism of my age group would be that the social media pertinent disease of making sure people know you are there, is more important than enjoying the moment, has an adverse effect on the atmosphere.

If it’s the guy near to the left I’ll defend him by saying he’s someone that would most likely watch the team even if we were playing on Victoria Park. There has to be a middle ground when calling out supporters not singing or making noise, the argument is more nuanced than this.

He played there for Wolves occasionally, could even be Faes there but let’s not all kid ourselves that some games we’ve been playing a left back. A lot of the time it’s three CBs with Winks and Ricardo in front.

Coady possibly left back or when Doyle was playing, more like LCB. He has the ability to switch play, very good long passer. I love that team and pleased kDH will be rested for WBA.
