  1. Crazy to think they’re the three best passers in the side and one of them is a goalie.
  2. Yeah we were normally awful, remember a goalpost crossbar splitting in half and cracking the keeper on the head once on the fields and knocking him out, about summed up the standard.
  3. Jon Stevenson.
  4. Same here. Would always be allowed some on the way home if I'd played well for the school, which wasn't very often.
  5. Do you segregate fans?
  6. We’re King Power FC don’t you know!
  7. Hence the beer request. I’ve listened to a lot of the games on you tube, which is the saddest sentence I’ve ever written on the internet, and the disorganisation is even apparent from there. Genuinely thought Leese would be gone by now.
  8. Yes and to add to the madness, people can do Human Resources as a degree.
  9. Really? That’s a shame, hopefully Coalville beer is on par with Kettering. I’ve not been to Owen Street since I played there about 12/13 years ago.
  10. Off to see Kettering play Coalville on Saturday, any recommendations for a pre match pint in Coalville prior.
  11. Is it a social media addiction or just general phone addiction?
  12. Would be like us getting Coalville, judging by the non-league thread there would be a few in the Coalville end over us.
  13. So close to a draw? We didn’t get a shot on target until added time. Very happy with our defensive performance nonetheless.
  14. Why he took that set piece at the end, I will never know. Especially when he’s shown he’s a decent target on a set piece. This style of play does show some limitations of his.
  15. The better team won. I am now more confident that Maresca won’t be poached at least.
  16. Leeds fans were average for Leeds, not much fight in the stadium to push the team on from us.
  17. Fans will lose their rag even more with this guy in charge. We will do well largely but once a game is gone, he’s not going to change the formation or style to get it back.
  18. In short I wear a red poppy, I just think less is more. We see all over the country it has been trivialised by organisations outdoing each other.
  19. Please see my post further down, I will be wearing my poppy tonight! It’s just my opinion re club thing with a giant poppy. Of course it would be bizarre.
  20. It’s my viewpoint. When I ponder the horrific world wars that innocent civilians died in, I like a personal, quiet moment of reflection. It feels forced that’s all. Not to say I’ve not felt the club in the last 20 years since that first remembrance fixture against Blackburn Nov 2003, have done some really good stuff for this fixture. Was always touching to see Birch on the pitch conveying his emotion whilst wearing his father’s medals. I will wear my red poppy tonight and remember those without the club’s help.
  21. If the club planned TIFO is a poppy, can’t not say that I feel it’s inappropriate. I always feel uncomfortable when big companies use symbols like a Poppy, it feels forced and inauthentic. Remembrance day is so important but it shouldn’t be about trying to out-do each other. Less is more.
  22. Pizza place.
  23. They’ll go with whatever plays best I suppose.
  24. Don’t get me excited, there’s been on and off a Uber eats/Deliveroo as showing as operating out of there recently.
