Soumare assist klaxon

A paranormally shit footballer
-
He did but to be fair people are always complaining about managers being too dogmatic and saying they should tailor their style to the players they've got. We've got crap, half-arsed players so crap, half-arsed football it is
-
Great strike Jord
-
I did think I covered that when I said the squad he's picking from is also bad
-
I'm happy to see Monga and Page starting but I also think the lineup (and squad) as a whole is miserable. Somehow, I am able to hold these opinions at the same time - what a marvel
-
Unfortunately I can't see them being in any rush to buy a second Dane off us after these two performances from their first one
-
He's brilliant. Would you have expected him to end up at this sort of level based on what you saw of him?

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official
Guest replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hadn't thought of this until now but Ipswich have got quite a few Ireland internationals in their squad so maybe that played a part if he gets on well with them -
I know their objective is to buy and sell assets more than it is actually building a football team but even so, spending more than a billion over the last four seasons to end up playing him in goal with Tosin and Chalobah centre back is remarkable stuff

I'll be pleasantly surprised if we end up spending that much but it is definitely very possible to get good Championship players for less than that -
Example of a board statement we should get
Guest replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If (and it's a big if) our board did this it would be 50% blaming external factors i.e. COVID, 50% crying about people being mean to God-Emperor Top and 0% admitting fault or taking any responsibility for anything -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Same thing every time someone decent looks like leaving. Never rated him anyway. Think we're better off without him, actually. Glad he's going. Still, how dare he want to leave? Can't believe he thinks he's better than us. He'd have been better off staying. Definitely don't want him to stay though. Already forgot about him but I hope he fails and ends up back here. BOOOOOO -

Jordan Ayew -
I'm as anti-penalties as anyone but even I don't have a huge problem with that being given. Can't really be leaning to block goalbound shots with your arms can you?
-
You'd had enough and were done with football the other day, what changed your mind? You don't seem to enjoy it very much
-
Recency bias maybe but I reckon Preston was easily as bad as/probably worse than any performance under Enzo. There were definitely a number of games that season where we looked unimaginative with the ball and vulnerable without it but even during the dodgy spell from Feb-April I don't think we were ever collectively and individually as wretched as we were on Saturday.
-
You'd have thought so, but being able to afford it and the people responsible for our recruitment actually being able to do it are two different things. I'd love to believe that another couple of sales will precipitate a rush of incomings - unfortunately I'm not sure I do, and the thought of first Hermansen, then Fatawu and potentially also BEK being sacrificed to stave off the bailiffs while the likes of Ayew, Vestergaard, Choudhury and co. continue to hoover up god knows how much money every week is sheer misery.
-
I think they probably prefer to look at slightly larger sample sizes than that
-
And an extra sprinkling of profit on top with the offers we turned down for Iversen and Thomas, one gone for nothing and the other potentially doing likewise at the end of the season. Rejecting good offers for bad players so there's even more pressure on us to accept bad offers for good players - the Leicester way.
-
Especially good work from us if he goes to Sunderland and we're stuck with McAteer on the right, who they had an offer rising to £10m turned down for in January
-
Have you looked in either of their threads?
-
I don't think they post anymore but there was someone who was absolutely certain we'd be better off without Mahrez because Demarai Gray was more than good enough to replace him, and would also accuse anyone who didn't think Hamza Choudhury was a future England captain of being a racist
-
We've done quite well to build a squad with so many players who aren't particularly good at any one aspect of the game. Midfielders who don't break up play, create chances or score goals, defenders who are neither solid defensively nor effective going forward, strikers who aren't reliable goal threats but also don't do a great deal else.
-
Yeah, double figures in eight of his last ten seasons. That one season at Burnley they'd won one game when he left in January and even then I think he ended up their second highest scorer. Didn't work out at Newcastle for whatever reason but since then he's been fantastic.
