Not his debut but it was his first start, and then he scored again in the cup on his second start later in the same week so we probably were all quite excited. Didn't score for us again, naturally
-
I don't know about immediate fan favourite, and it was about as good as it got for both of them, but Casadei and Tete scored on their debuts
-
Yeah exactly. The calls for the youngsters are largely because lots of the senior players are crap, on too much money relative to what they contribute and thus need getting rid of wherever possible. Hamza is one such player and the fact he's an academy graduate means it makes more sense to sell him, not less.

I wasn't there and I can remember it, so now we just need someone who was there but can't remember it and we've got all bases covered -
Could we get actually get relegated again this season?

I don't think we'll be anywhere near bad enough to go down but I definitely think, especially with one or two more key departures and not a great deal of activity in the other direction, we may well be bad enough for it to be another really unenjoyable slog of a season -
This is Faes' fourth season here and there are still people who can't pronounce his first or last name, though granted there are some who get around that by just booing him instead

They can and did on Monday, when the answer was he got injured on international duty and will be out for "some weeks". It seems unlikely the situation will have changed a great deal since then -

Maybe not, but talking about his "showing" i.e. ten minutes off the bench for the reserves like it's going to drive his price down or put potential suitors off doesn't make a great deal of sense I don't think -

Played about ten minutes? -
I thought he was crap, particularly in the first half when he was fortunate that Nelson was having a nightmare and taking the spotlight off him constantly tripping over the ball. One of our many players with no discernible strengths
-
Can only hope the fact he wasn't is a precursor to him being dropped on Saturday, same with Soumare getting the full 90. Makes the Mendy and Ndidi partnership look like Xavi and Iniesta
-
I certainly don't have any confidence we'll buy anyone even if we do make more sales. A couple of loans and/or frees late on in the window maybe but I don't think we'll come close to doing what we need to
-
Alarm bells must already be ringing for him with how the window's going and the performance/application levels from some of the more established senior players. I think he's got a massive job on his hands and I hope he's capable of doing it (start by abandoning the Soumare + Skipp midfield please) but I'm already worried the environment around him is just completely ****ed.
-
While he's here and the alternatives are Skipp and Soumare, he needs to start
-
That's more like the sort of thing I expect to see him doing
-
What the ****
-
I hope you're right
-
Maybe he felt hooking Skipp at half time twice in a row would be too harsh but it's what needs to happen. Nothing personal, the guy is dreadful and a big (though not the only) reason why we're struggling to work the ball up the pitch
-
I've seen better attempts at a haiku I must say
-
According to the report you have linked, he hasn't left. There is a quote from Steve Clarke in there that says we're allowing him to work with Scotland during international breaks.

Transfermarkt give players a "market value" which even they admit is not really anything to do with how much the player is actually worth. It is essentially meaningless and using them as a guide is a waste of time. For example, Fatawu's market value is apparently €11m, lower than Soumare's and Kristiansen's. -
Forgot to add, if all those are the same then the managers have to fight to the death with swords
-
More away goals. It goes points > goal difference > goals scored > head to head record > wins > away goals > disciplinary record/penalty points

"Later this week" if Percy is to be believed -
Always got to be some variation on "I've heard", "I've been told" as well like they're David Ornstein and an agent has given them a call, whereas invariably what's actually happened is they or someone they know has seen a rumour on Twitter
