Ipswich have been absolutely shite. Not a single shot on target

90+7

Ipswich are shite and I really hope their shite, time wasting, slowing the game down tactics screws them this season. They were wasting time in the first 5 mins of the game and have offered nothing all game and fully deserve to be losing. Absolutely rank!

Kyogo looks really good but I don't rate Stansfield at all

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

Yeh no way would they look for another centre back, they are well stacked. If anything, they could loan one of theirs to us. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Probably wise, just for the sanity of many on here. -
Fcking hate this club!

I'd have probably said £20-25m would have been fair for Mads so £18m isn't terrible. A few more mill would have been nice but we aren't in a good enough financial position to play hard ball.
-
Trafford had a buy back clause didn't he?
-
Don't see why so many people have an issue with us selling Mads. In a ideal world, we'd keep our best players every summer and sign new players to improve the squad, and we tried this under Brendan which is why we are where we are now financially. We have to sell players to try and sort the finances out and we have a very good keeper to replace him. We may still sell Bilal, but if we don't, I'd say that's a successful window where we've started to sort the finances and wage bill out whilst keeping hold of Bilal. We won't be able to sign anyone as good as Bilal in the championship and whilst Mads is very good keeper, Stolarczyk is also a very good keeper and deserves a chance to be our number 1.

If this is where we are at as a Club, where there is genuine concern that posts on a fans forum could be removed at the request of people at the club, then we are well and truly fcked! It's no wonder there is zero accountability at any level of the club when none of them can actually accept they have and continue to run the club very poorly. And when there is no accountability of poor performance throughout the club, this mentality has probably passed onto the players and is why we are where we are with a group of players that are vastly over paid and we can't shift because either nobody wants them or they just don't want to leave the cushy number they have at LCFC right now. Cull needed across the whole club but won't ever happen while Top is in charge. Another thing that won't happen whilst he is charge is us becoming an established prem team again. Yoyo team is the best we can hope for until he sells up. We are miles behind teams like Brighton, Bournemouth and even Palace etc now. -
No idea how Chelsea always manage to at least break even/mainly make a profit, even on players that have done nothing for them.
-
I think the reason people are having an issue with this is because so many are sick do death of Top and his incompetent running of the club so in turn, they are also sick of having everything to do with Thailand rammed down their throats. If the club was doing well then this wouldn't be a thing but we aren't, so I totally get why people are getting annoyed by the whole Thailand bollocks. If the club was getting money for it then it would be a different story but that's highly unlikely

Wilfs been a good player for us but this is a good move for both parties, a fresh start. Good luck to him, he was one of the decent guys in a squad filled with wasters.
-
I still think we could have a chance of selling Faes. He's a regular for the Belgium national team. Depends I suppose on his wages but I doubt he's on anywhere near as much as Vestergaard
-
What happened?
-
Ricardo has had an injury. Marti said he wouldn't be fit for today. No idea about Alves.
-
What's interesting about 3 injured players not playing? Do agree it's strange that Ndidi and Stolarczyk didn't play at all.
-
Bilal, Fatawu and Mavididi are full on cheat codes at this level. I can't think of many if any players better at championship level than these 3. If we could somehow sneak a loan for a striker, we have the makings of an excellent team. Okoli and Nelson have the potential to be a great centre half pairing and even the 2 donkeys Jannik and Faes have shown they are decent at this level when they don't have to play against decent attackers, although I'd rather see at least one of them leave ideally. People say the midfield is weak but Winks has proven he's very good at this level if he can get his head out his arse and focus on his game and we play a style that suits him like Enzo did. Skipp not the best and I'd like to see the back of soumare but we also know Ndidi is very good at this level, plus Bilal can play as an 8 as well. No signings and we keep our key players.and I think we get promoted. A decent striker and we keep our key players and we win the league. A decent striker and a centre mid and keep our key players and we smash the league to pieces with over 100 points. All of course dependant on how the transfer window pans out and if we get a points deduction.
-
Most of the championship is also utterly shocking so we'll be reet! Add in we have a new manager who is still trying to pass his tactics and style of play onto the players, and we may not be at our best for a few weeks, but we should still be good enough to beat most of the guff in this league.
-
So assuming they'd had 1000's of shirts produced by Adidas with the sponsor on the front, that's another costly mistake if they've had to return them all to have the sponsor removed. And then for anyone that buys the sponsorless shirt now, will the club allow them to return it to have the sponsor put back on the front once they've got a new sponsor? What an absolute cluster**** again. Any other business and several sackings would be taking place with incompetence on this scale. Its incomprehensible that people at the club are actively losing the club and Top money and yet he stands by and does nothing.
-
We'd need to lose at least 2 centre mids if we were to sign 2 more. Not sure I like the idea of signing too many players this summer as we already have a big squad, we have little money to play with and the wage bill needs reducing. Add in the fact that we're very limited in the standard of player you can sign in the championship, I'd rather we just use the players we have and maybe add 1 max 2 new faces, and then look to improve the squad next summer if we are in the prem, where we would have more money, a lower wage bill and a higher standard of player to choose from.
-
There is no way we are signing 2 strikers as we already have Ayew and Daka (as much as he's shit he isn't going anywhere) plus Jake Evans. A cheap pick up like Kone is ideal for now, and then next summer, if we get promoted, we sign another striker that would be good enough for the prem.

Spot on this -
I went to the San siro back in April to watch Milan play Fiorentina and they are decent side and it will be a good test for us. They have a few former PL players like De Gea and Kean and they've just signed Dzeko as well. The player that impressed me most when i watched them was the right back Dodo, got forward a lot and caused Milan loads of problems down their left flank so Thomas could be in for a tough afternoon.
