I couldn't care less about this game but that performance was concerning but my biggest concern is that if Marti continues to pick Soumare, the crowd will turn very nasty very quickly. He was disgusting against Wednesday and even worse tonight. He's the laziest player I've ever seen. Utter shite. Defensively we were crap tonight. 2 utterly shite goals conceded from disgusting defending.

I can accept a missed pen, but not when they reek of arrogance like that Ayew one did
-
There's always one isn't there 🙄

Like i said earlier, there is zero chance Everton could afford Fatawu. It's like me going in a Ferrari garage. I really want one, they look amazing but sadly i fall very short of the valuation. "Can we get Fatawu for £20m?" Can I get a Ferrari for £20k?
-
He'll just chuck a free donut/beer at them to get them back onside. Easily sorted.
-
Nothing surprises me with this club anymore but if we do sell him (and it's not a huge fee), then it will show the club is fcked financially and they are asset stripping
-
Different situation altogether. We already had a keeper to replace Mads and keepers generally don't go for high fees. We needed some money in and Mads was the ideal one to sacrifice. We don't have a replacement for Fatawu. I'd be amazed if we sell him, unless it's an absolute monster bid.
-
I can't see Everton being able to afford Fatawu when they've just spent big on Dewsbury Hall. I wouldn't even consider any bids below £40m and even that's low considering his ability and how high his ceiling is.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

With it being a release clause, can we insist on all the money being paid up front rather than installments? -
I think there is a decent player in there, but I wonder if he'd be more suited to the Italian league than the English leagues. Like with all the squad, if we get a decent offer, we'll consider it. I believe we paid around £13m (€15m) for him, so we probably owe around £10m still for him. £15-20m and I think we'd consider it. Would mean we'd need a new centre back though, we need 4 and there are still question marks over whether Faes will still be here. I think Nelson, Jannik and Souttar are the only ones guaranteed to be here come September, and the latter probably won't be match fit until around November at the earliest. Loaning a centre back wouldn't be a bad move. Callum Doyle anyone?

That doesn't change the fact he's been a petulant bell end for most of his time here.
-
I don't necessarily agree with booing him onto the pitch, but he is a massive bell end and we need to get rid asap. We don't want him here and he doesn't want to be here. He probably took the brunt of some of the frustrations that we weren't winning at the time. Had we been 3-0 up when he came on, I doubt he'd have been booed.
-
I literally said that at the start of my post which Is why I said I hope he soon realises they are not the answer
-
Too early for Marti out? On a serious note, yes he's picked the team, but I blame the players rather than him. I just hope he quickly realises that Soumare and Vestergaard are not the answer for us if we want to have a good season.
-
We thoroughly deserve to be losing. We're playing a team that are realistically the quality of a mid table league 1 side and we've had zero control and look so disorganised and all over the place. We were quick to say how bad Birmingham, Ipswich, Southampton looked, we look like relegation fodder.

We're crap
-
Sorry it's started and there's just no way of stopping it now.

Mads Hermansen sold to West Ham - Official
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Outside of the 'cartel' clubs, there isn't that much money knocking around with PSR, apart from clubs that have sold a player or 2 for decent money. Would have been nice to have got a few more million but it's not as terrible a deal as many are making out. We just aren't in a good enough financial position to play hardball and West Ham could have just gone elsewhere. Keeping Mads would have been nice but seeing as we have Stolarczyk, if we can now use that money to get a striker then happy days. -
His Dad Traffic, will be buzzing if he signs for us!

There has been no pants pulled down, it's a good deal all round. -West Ham have the keeper they wanted. -Mads gets to play in the prem, which he deserves. -we get to ease our financial worries and hopefully be able to sign a striker. -

I can't stand Rudkin but do we really need to be bashing him in situations that he hasn't actually done anything wrong? £18m rising to £20m is a fair price for a keeper given we aren't in a financial position to play hard ball. Previously when we got good prices for the likes of Maguire and Mahrez, we were in a good position where we could push the fee as high as possible. We are no longer in that position and add in the fact that only West ham had shown interest and that limited our ability to push the price up. We have a good keeper to replace him and now hopefully can use some of the money to invest in other areas like a striker. -
Ipswich Shite. Ref shite. Never a pen. A draw suits us as these 2 are "pRoMoTiON FaVoUrItEs"
-
Good point that. They went under the radar last time round as they'd just been promoted and nobody expected them to do anything. Now they are one of the favourites and the pressure is on. The fact they finished below us last season shows they aren't very good seeing as we were utterly hideous last season.
-
We don't want to be signing 40 year olds. I bet his wages aren't small either.
-
He's such a bell end and he absolutely hates us
