  1. I'm pretty sure Hermansen would have been the only one with book value. The rest should have been pure profit. Ndidi and Justin should have been paid off and Mcateer was pure profit
  2. We've massively reduced our wage bill and made £50m in player sales. If we can't afford even a couple of loans then the club is beyond fckd and he needs to sell ASAP.
  3. Thing is, we don't even need to spend much money. I'm sure there are a few players we could get on loan to boost the squad and then invest more heavily next summer if we get promoted. I'd rather us get loans than risk us signing anymore Ayews, Reids or Skipps
  4. Hopefully we're finally getting the Hamza we thought we'd get when he first broke into the team. Had some ups and downs and has always seemed a limited player but can't fault him so far this season. His fight and commitment are top class and he's always willing to get stuck into the opposition and we need that in the championship. Selling Justin for £10m and having Hamza as our starting rb seems like a great decision so far.
  5. Great win. Not the most attractive or entertaining game of football but our defensive shape, fight and resilience seems to be improving so Marti deserves a lot of credit for that. Maybe we were all worrying unnecessarily but we could do with a few new signings before deadline day. As for Birmingham, Chris Davies clearly uses the Brendan Rodgers textbook of all fart and no shit. Could have played until tomorrow night and they wouldn't score. Regardless of Stansfield being out (who I personally think is massively overrated) they are lacking any quality in the final 3rd
  6. Not a priority but still needed. Bausor needs a loan and we can't operate with only 2 keepers.
  7. Came here to see if there was anyone who might be interested in taking him, then remembered his wages are ridiculous, he's average at best and seems like a bit of a tw@t so realistically he'll leave on a free next summer.
  8. I may be wrong but I don't think you can loan players to other English teams if they are in the last year of their contract.
  9. Like fck are we spending £30m 🤣
  10. Agreed, I was just been facetious
  11. I don't think it's possible to look favourably upon a club that spent £20m on Oli Skipp.
  12. Small steps. I think what the original poster was suggesting is that it would be a bonus to have eased our finances with selling squad players rather than key players like Fatawu and Bilal (providing both stay). Other than Mads who we already have the replacement for, don't think most are too fussed about the others we've sold. If we end up with £50m+ from Mads, Coady, Ndidi, Justin, Mcateer and Kristiansen, that's a decent start to the swamp drain. Most likely that Soumare, Winks and Daka leave for free next summer as its unlikely anyone will buy them.
  13. Mods can we delete all the negative comments until the deal is done. We need to make sure Forest know they are getting a top quality full back.
  14. It's not in his interests to down tools if he wants to move to a bigger club.
  15. Wonder if this one will be parked for now if we keep Bilal. Imagine the scenes on here if we keep Bilal and negotiate a loan with an option to buy for this guy. Add in a competent striker and a centre mid and maybe a full back and we can forget the Vardy statue and build the Rudkin statue.
  16. It wouldn't be within his best interests to down tools and not give 100% if he does stay here. If he was to smash it for us, which he should do in the championship, there will be teams in Jan that may be more willing to pay the amount we'd be looking for. However, in such a scenario, we should add January tax. £35m in the summer, £40m min in Jan.
  17. Why? Every player has a price that the selling club is willing to sell for but buying clubs also have a price in their head what they are willing to pay. Bilal is young and has bags of potential but he didn't pull up any trees last season, albeit in a very poor side, so understandable teams may be reluctant to spend so much
  18. We should a classic supermarket buy one get 2 free. Buy VK and have Soumare and Daka for free. They are leaving for free next summer anyway and we could just save a few million in wages
  19. So true. He always turns out world class on fm.
  20. Its frustrating that 6 out of 92 clubs hold all the power. Ultimately, as with everything in football it all comes down to money. Even in the prem, the cartel only hold 6/20 votes, but the other 14 dare not vote against them as they all still earn lucrative amounts of money from being in the Premier league. If the 14/20 or 86/92 all rose up against the cartel, surely the PL/fa/efl would have to do something? If the 14/20 refused to play against the cartel until the rules get changed, what could they do? Fck off to a super league? Good, that's what we all want. Make the game fair or fck off I say. Edit: just want to add that as much as I agree with Samuel and the whole PSR rules being corrupt, it doesn't hide the fact our owner and board have mis managed the club to unprecedented levels. PSR may have forced our hand in selling our best players over the years but it didn't force us to replace them with a load of useless tw@ts.
  21. Is that really your main take from that article?
  22. He really is a horrible little bastard. Charlton is his level, he'll never succeed any higher.
  23. And Nuno. Last time we got a former forest manager worked really well
