  1. Would be nice. He seems to have fallen out of favour at Brighton so not beyond the realms of possibility. He's still young but I reckon there is a decent player in there if he was given some decent game time.
  2. We obviously need a striker but may not have the money to buy a good striker this summer so a loan might be the best option. Evan Ferguson could be a shout. A loan with an option to buy like we did with Fatawu would be a good shout as well if there is anyone decent available that could fall into this bracket.
  3. What the fck have I just read?
  4. Happy belated Ruud
  5. Dyche is favourite with skybet which means the grand total of fck all.
  6. Yep feel the same. Lad I work with always wants to talk about football and he's always like "who's leicester signed" " how do you think you'll do next season". I just reply I don't know and I don't care 🤣
  7. The only thing he values is money and no team in the world will give him as much as we do.
  8. But he hasn't succeeded at any point as a manager. If anything, Middlesbrough regressed under his tenure.
  9. Hopefully Carrick? Why?
  10. Whoever it is, they need to have the full backing of the board to do things their way and get rid of any player in the squad that won't buy into it. We won't get the culture at the club sorted if we continue to allow the players to dictate everything. I like Rohl and I've been saying for months we should get him.
  11. I think a few on here seem to either downplay how utterly horrendous Sheff Wed are or go over the top with how bad we are. We are a million miles ahead of clubs like Sheff Wed, regardless of how poorly we've been run recently. Aside from their owner being one of the worst in English football, their facilties, training ground, squad, academy, finances, literally everything are so far behind us it's untrue. Rohl taking a training session at Sheff Wed and then taking a training session with us would be like somebody jumping from a pub team to a team in league 2 (in terms of facilties not the standard of players). They really are an absolute shambles Sheff Wed and I know this as a good mate of mines nephew was in their academy.
  12. It's as boring and plain as a football shirt can get with a hideous logo on the front.
  13. My comment was based on how the shirt looks, not about who is sponsoring them. They are 2 completely separate discussions.
  14. The new Preston shirt is utterly heinous!
  15. Wouldn't blame him if he did want to go, felt sorry for him last season when he was trying to make things happen but realised the players around him were all crap.
  16. Would seem strange to put a release clause of £26m when we paid £20m for him didn't we?
  17. Does Bilal have a release clause?
  18. Yeh I get Bournemouth are a small club but it's not just them, the same applies to any non cartel club. Anyone can have a decent season and we had a fair few, but nobody is able to really build a top team and push on for any length of time due to the rules and the big clubs just constantly poaching their players. It's always been the same to be fair and always will be. Even the English cartel can get their players poached by Real Madrid every so often. Football is a food chain I guess and we'll always be somewhere around the middle of it.
  19. Might not be a bad thing when our recruitment has been heinous over the past few years except the odd decent signing here and there.
  20. Feel a bit sorry for Bournemouth. Huijsen and Kerkez gone and looking like PSG won't give up on Zabarnyi. There is just no chance of any non cartel team competing long term as all your players just get poached. I always hated it when we had to sell our key players like Kante, Mahrez, Maddison etc over the years, and whilst I understand we needed to sell to keep reinvesting in the squad, the thought of losing 3 top young players in one window would be unbelievably sickening. Would be nice for us to actually have the odd saleable asset in our squad these days! Just read an article that we were interested in Kerkez back in January 2023 but went with Kristiansen instead.
  21. Yes but they are still championship standard players on PL wages, and signed for PL transfer fees (excluding Coady).
  22. We've spent hideous amounts of money on championship standard players. Skipp, Souttar, Coady, Daka etc. Not sure if Daka is even championship level to be fair.
  23. He'd fit in perfect there. Big ego ✅️ Shit ✅️ Experience of relegation battles ✅️ Total bell end ✅️
  24. Christ, we know the clubs a mess but we aren't and probably won't get to Cardiff levels. Some serious over reaction from some on here. The foundations of our club are some of the best in the country with the academy and training ground etc. We just need people to actually build on them foundations ie, a decent manager, coaching staff and dof. But in terms of facilties etc we are streets ahead of every team in the efl.
  25. Been listening to the radio x oasis channel and it's sent me down a rabbit hole of looking for more less known oasis tracks. Some absolutely amazing tracks that don't get the recognition they deserve. I'd actually pay good money to watch an oasis gig where they play all the b sides like Gas panic, cast a shadow etc
