  1. I know a lad who got a life ban for calling the club "Nazi's" on twitter, he was a season ticket holder and they banned him mid season
  2. Can't see that many of our players being better than what Chelsea already have, plus they're going to have to be careful of FFP
  3. All 20 Premier League stadiums ranked by fans on which has the worst atmosphere (givemesport.com)
  4. Ha ha fair point, it was an article on the worst atmosphere in the Prem, I wasn't that arsed to read it in detail, but suffice to say Notts Forest came bottom, my point was we're not inundated with Forest fans crying woe is us
  5. At a guess people who took part in the vote who voted the stadium atmosphere ok, TBH dunno
  6. Maybe we should stop beating ourselves up, below is a table of poor atmosphere in the Premier League Premier League Stadiums with the Worst Atmosphere Stadium Club Capacity Vote % Kenilworth Road Luton Town 11,050 13% Old Trafford Manchester United 74,879 11% Etihad Stadium Manchester City 55,017 10.8% Vitality Stadium Bournemouth 11,329 7.6% Anfield Liverpool 54,074 6.2% Emirates Stadium Arsenal 60,704 5.6% Brentford Community Stadium Brentford 17,250 4.8% Stamford Bridge Chelsea 40,853 4.8% London Stadium West Ham United 62,500 4.8% Craven Cottage Fulham 25,700 4.3% Turf Moor Burnley 21,994 4.2% Bramall Lane Sheffield United 32,702 3.5% Molineux Stadium Wolves 32,050 2.8% St James' Park Newcastle United 52,338 2.7% Villa Park Aston Villa 42,682 2.3% Goodison Park Everton 39,571 2.3% Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Tottenham 62,062 2.3% AMEX Stadium Brighton 31,800 2.2% Selhurst Park Crystal Palace 26,047 2.2% City Ground Nottingham Forest 30,445 2.1% Information via Lucky Block - Capacities via Transfermarkt
  7. With all these comparisons to Coventry it seems the answer is clear, disappear into obscurity for a few decades then surge back to mediocrity - The KP will be banging
  8. Ridiculous excuse or not, the fact of the matter is the home support has disappeared and is worsening as the season progresses, L1 no longer sings. I can recall reports of goals activating earthquake monitors and L1 used to be quite an experience, clearly there's a reason, I don't accept fans no longer have an "interest in singing"
  9. I'm afraid the lack of atmosphere is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy, the more the atmosphere disappears the less people are likely attempt to join in. its now got so bad I think its going to take targeted action from the club to resolve it, I can't see how they will achieve this without moving sections of fans. However, they first need to admit we have a problem. Its not Enzo's style holding us back, its modern footballs style, every club now plays, or at least attempts to play, this style of football, like it or not, it doesn't lend itself to passionate support
  10. I knew Rob Ullerthorne quite well when he was here and can't forget the time he angrily told me Martin O'Neil was getting a bit fed up with his recovery time and shouted "I've known people with aids get better quicker than you"
  11. My opinion on him is, by no means the worst Leicester manager ever, but certainly the most unpopular
  12. Exact translation: Diagnostic without appeal for Wesley fracture of fibula indivisionality 3 to 4 months Fernando Nino's irresponsible tackle in a friendly match that is awful
  13. That's a great idea this goes well beyond club allegiances, I sent it to Stevie Lynex (very popular ex Leicester player) and he re-posted it, normally anything that Steve posts attracts lots of comments but this hasn't, it won't be due to the content or message because believe me its a powerful video, in my opinion at 8 minutes long people may be put off investing the time into watching it, you say it has 26,000 views, but are they watching it right through or do they simply click off when they realise its a longer than usual piece. I don't know if you've considered an additional shorter video although clearly that would be hard to achieve the same power. Sorry if this message is unwelcome, maybe I'm just a bit cynical about today's instant click culture.
  14. That's a scary warning over free bets, signed and shared and good luck with the petition, 6010 signatures to date
  15. Well aren't you just the little miss take the pi55 - Richard head
  16. I remember one game, it was Chelsea away and to my dismay, (sorry, not sorry) I had the seat next to him. The smell was unbearable so I had to stand some distance away from him, but the stewards were strictly enforcing fans to sit down and of course one came up to me and told me to sit down, I just nodded in Bernie's direction and said "mate, I just can't" he walked towards Bernie, quickly backing off, turned to me and said "ok you can stand there" True story, I promise
  17. Actually its more embarrassing than that, he chose then Premier League Birmingham City, we were at the time a Championship club
  18. Whilst some may suspect the OP isn't really suggesting any of his team play for us, I can actually recall the match when Chris Evans did pull on the famous blue Leicester kit and play for us
  19. Me and my mates bought Ian Wilson's dad a pint in a pub before the match and the willy puller paid us by scoring an own goal
  20. My mate is a season ticket holder and gets the train from Newcastle every time we play. some matches he has a short time limit to make the station and on occasions leaves a little early to ensure he makes his train, I don't blame him either
  21. The very first game where to clappers were introduced to the King Power was the first match of the great escape (West Ham) Thai people are often very superstitious they probably believe them to be lucky
  22. Just rubbish, I was at that game and heard nothing, so I suggest there was one or two people saying stuff near you. Don't try and make out Leicester fans turned on Sol because they didn't turn on him, your comment strikes me as another "it's because I'm black inn'it" victim rubbish
  23. I'm interested in it
  24. Not sure citing nationality is particularly relevant, after all Brendan Rogers isn't English and the fans have really taken to him, Top isn't English and we flaming love him. Puel wasn't the worse manager at Leicester by any means and yes he did achieve some really positive improvements here, but he was the least popular manager I can recall and his results weren't acceptable although I'm not sure the players were doing what he wanted them to do. they probably didn't know what he wanted them to do
  25. Didn't we sign Roger Davies from Club Brugge for £135,000 in 1979, my mate (a staunch Leicester fan living in Derby) lives next door to him
