Sapori was good but overpriced and not the best service so this would have been better I think.

Was meant to be going to The Wilderness in Brum for lunch but had to cancel and watch them 11 ***** earlier instead, but it does mean we are going to Sapori instead. Never been and wanted to go for ages.

Predictably, couldn’t be arsed to get out of bed this morning but it meant I went for a head clearing 5K when I got back from the football. Avoided the canal today, maybe because I’d have thrown myself in it or maybe because I didn’t want to get chased by @stretch1965 again.

The only thing I would say is that he went for the easy option of blaming past regimes which was maybe a bit of a hint of feeling it, plus saying we knew it would take time. ****ed me off really because if he knew these were the problems when he walked in the door, re player motivation, then why is he picking the same players guilty of it.

The scary thing is, they’ve made that much of a mess of the finances that actually they’ve probably hired the right bloke for what they need. He was the cheapest available, willing to waive money he was due to manage us. The objective in their eyes this season is clearly to stay up, and that’s absolutely wild considering where we have come from.

Yep, either we get very lucky by buying good players for cheap or we end January even weaker (on paper) than we currently are.
