I’m saying that if Nelson shows enough in training he’ll get game time, it’s not like Marti is anti youth. Its literally september, just take a deep breath he’ll get his chance.

Marti has been extremely willing to put young players in when he sees fit - there's a lot of trust there, so is it that strange? I'm not so sure. If he thought Nelson was right for the job currently then he'd be playing. Anyway, it's a long old season and he will be needed.

Had this exact thought earlier - RDL and Schlupp were starting. Winks will be in the team soon and won't lose his place, he's the best we've got whether people like it or not.

Disagree with this - he holds the ball up pretty well and helps to drag us up the pitch, i think he does a lot of donkey work for the team that largely goes unnoticed.

It’s clear how much he wants to engage with the fans and do the little things to try and rebuild a connection that was destroyed under Cooper, RVN etc. Its early days but lots of green flags.

Can’t be Olly for me, he walked into an absolute mess under Milan and his agents, inherited a disastrous squad that Mandaric kept adding shite to and dismantling behind his back. I think I saw an Iain Hume podcast a little while back describing the set up and Holloway got completely shafted, it was all on Milan. Maybe that’s my Bristolian roots kicking in however! Worst has to be Peter Taylor, RVN and Paulo Sousa.

Disagree, Ipswich have championship to prem infrastructure and once the team settles they’ll have a good season. Although I don’t expect them to win the league like many were tipping!

Surely nobody is writing Ipswich and Sheff U off at this point? It’s so early in the season and one thing I’d say about the championship is, once a team starts finding a head of steam either side of Christmas, you can race up the league quite quickly.
