Justin is really having a bad afternoon so far.

I'm getting messages off mates about how lucky we were today. Maybe I've got massively blue tinted specs but I thought we were good value. Of course we are going to give chances up. We are newly promoted and were playing a team chasing Europe! They didn't wipe the floor with us. I didn't see them cut through time and time again. We had a structure and we had energy. I thought the second half was really strong and we pressed and attacked with intent. Like I say...maybe I'm too biased?!

Given us structure and shape. An attacking identity too. Love that the players aren't afraid to go direct either. The key bit for me is everyone looks a yard quicker. There was a moment in the first half where Kasey looked quicker than usual in a sprint. The players are clearly onside with his ideas. Long may it continue.

I think in the second half we have been better. And we have definitely threatened them. We can agree to disagree but this is so much better than what we have watched earlier in the season.

I don't get what's happened there with the ref? The defender blocks a shot with his meat and two veg and he stops play? Then blows for HT? I thought they only stop for head injuries?

It's crazy that we find ourselves in a situation where we are still leaning on Soumare and Thomas. It's criminal to have spent that cash on Bilal and Skipp and neither being a starting XI player. Why would you not use that cash somewhere else? Our defence needs so much work and the fact that we are using a player who for last season was away on loan to hopefully get a move (VK) is laughable. From an attacking perspective our hopes rest on a 37 year old and a 19 year old loanee. The signings of BDCR and Ayew are criminal. These things are squarely at the feet of this seat sniffer. He probably can't believe his luck most mornings that he has this job !!!

Obvious defensive issues aside...that lineup had 3 attacking players in it. Vardy had absolutely no service (which essentially is the story of any bad point of our recent history) and Ayew was really poor. Held on the ball for far too long and his first touch was awful. I actually didn't think it was one of Bennys best games either. Tap-in aside he was wasteful in possession on the odd occasion we had it. You have to offer at least some sort of threat to an opposition - we were very blunt yesterday. At almost every opportunity, we were just turning and passing it backwards. Our set-pieces need to be better.....if you're going to be pony at everything else at least be able to get a decent cross into the box!

Soccer Saturday panel not impressed. Apparently we only signed him because of the 4 games at united. And he won't even know what the championship is if we are to get relegated. Merson also referred to his spell at Ajax. Love this. Exactly the sort of things that get the best out of our club !!!

There's an element here about the players too. Some of them need to have a look at themselves. I'm annoyed at this video ...its crossing a line. We need a manager to tell a few of them some home truths and to get us organised. Also needs to set the minimum standards around work rate. Moyes has recently had top 10 finishes and silverware. Could be a good fit?
