  1. They’ll point firmly at FFP and shrug their shoulders, ignoring the fact that other than Bilal and Fatawu the money available was wasted not to mention the Cooper compensation - who chose him in the first place?
  2. He should have walked on the night the transfer window closed. He is only blotting his copybook for any potential managerial career ahead at the moment. That vs 2 resignations, I think people would see he’s had no support from the board and had sympathy at that point in time. Whether he has anything about him anyway I’m not convinced, he fields the same anonymous performers game after game and wonders why nothing happens out there.
  3. Hearing Ruud’s analysis that Brentford were just several levels above us it seems like the second half was just about containment, keeeping the score down. At that point, issue a 50% refund and a free hot drink on the way out, if you’re not going to bother then why should we, as a club you are professionally under prepared for the task and have mis-sold tickets on the pretence that you are prepared. “No one available within our budget who would have improved the side”? That budget must have been tuppence ha’penny and a toffee wrapper. £70 to watch training drills with no desire to change, no 2 up top even at 0-3, just given up hope.Do not send any more happy clappy emails about maximum effort, all talk no action.
  4. Agree, the game completely passed him by (as did his opponents).
  5. The bit where Vestergaard drills a pass to Mavididi to get us 20 yards further up the pitch and Mav scampers back into his own half with it leaving it at Vestys feet like a dog returning a stick . Other than Bilal and Benouanotte we’d reached hot potato time where no-one had the guts to want to be on the ball. Ayew surprised at his subbing and reaction? I recorded it, come round and watch it mate then tell us you put in a fine or even adequate performance.
  6. The TV hosts keep bleating on about only being 2 points off 17th, we don’t look like winning 1 point and we have a harder run of games approaching than any other club. Wolves will get a few points in coming weeks as will Ipswich whilst we sit motionless saying “next time, next time”.
  7. Walk Ruud, if you think we’re on the right path you’re deluded, you’ve been let down by the club and the players, if you’re not going to try something different step away and call out the lack of backing and poor squad.
  8. Is Rudkin actually sucking a lemon or is that his permanent resting b**ch face?
  9. Bunch of f*****g clowns
  10. No Smithy it’s not about recently seeing us win cups. Have we used our budget well this season? Have we got our appointments right since losing Maresca?
  11. Don’t worry folks, the summer star signing is on, all will be OK
  12. Not that they have much credit in the bank themselves but if you’re an unused sub after that half you’d be angry and wanting to know how (presuming they do care at all)
  13. Yep, can you get 2.full backs, 2 Centre half’s, a couple of wingers, a striker and a packet of quavers please
  14. We’ve got Wilf back to shield in front of the defence in central areas but out wide there’s no protection at all, I don’t want to be a Pulis all-out defence side but the full backs need help, if you want to watch the game buy a ticket don’t occupy a shirt
  15. The goalpost has just earned our man of the half award
  16. ……from Filbert, to make it even more humiliating
  17. We’re not going to beat that Flekken goalkeeper
  18. Not set up to even compete, a complete disgrace
  19. That 9-0 away at Southampton record……
  20. Oh DeCordova-Reid is playing?
  21. So much more solid with Wilf and more mobile at the back with Okoli but just so so blunt up top. 0-0 perhaps?
  22. Just watching the footage of Brentford this season. That is sped up, right? oooooh s**t!
  23. You try running an Airport Duty Free business in a lockdown. Those Toblerone have expiry dates you know
  24. Like the “Premier Ambitions, Amateur decisions” one, covers a lot of what’s happening in 4 words. As for Ginetta not being sure why people are getting wound up? Does he think appointing and compensating a manager for 4-5 months work without looking at who chose him in the first place an acceptable use of budget. Does he think Eduauard was a sensible use of a loan slot and salary? Does he think it was justifiable to throw such a wedge of our budget at substitute Oliver Skipp? Does he think we really had to offer De-Cordova Reid a 3 year deal to acquire his services. It was crucial that we got the majority of decisions right. We didn’t. These aren’t external forces, they are internal decisions.
  25. To be fair I was quite happy with some of that, the first chunk welcoming our guests and discussing the results is generic cut and paste but if he had not addressed the absence of signings he’d have gotten stick for it but he has. I would still argue that different faces and characters coming in to the dressing room, guys who haven’t lost 8 in 9 would improve our hopes even if they’re only on a par with what we already have as opposed to being a significant improvement. But then ….. he felt the need for that last sentence, you know, the bit about how we want to be in the Premier League but if we’re not right behind the team, our failure, every Faes brain fart, every time Justin drifts out of position and loses his man, every time Mavididi gives up the chase, every time Winks gives the ball away with a sloppy pass, every time Jordan Ayew does, well, nothing……..it’s OUR FAULT! That’s right, everything will be dandy if we cheer them on, problem solved!
