  1. BBC Stoke are prepared to pose worthwhile and tough questions to under fire Port Vale manager Darren Moore. Heaven forbid that BBC Leicester take the same approach when interviewing Marti post-match. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0mqtyh2?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile
  2. Saw Maradona live twice. So he has to be top of my list. Edit: Mahrez' first touch was/is second to none in world football.
  3. I idolised Wortho in my early years supporting City, as he was the most skilful and technically gifted player we had ever had until Mahrez arrived. Difficult to choose between them on those qualities, but Mahrez achieved more.
  4. Transport difficulties making the best decision for you then. Probably a relief to you.
  5. Won't be driving home for Christmas this year
  6. Correct. https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/history/matchdetails.php?mid=1615
  7. Agree totally, I was there too. And we did turn the corner with a 15 game unbeaten run shortly after that match to secure promotion. Can't bring myself to go to games anymore with this regime running the club into the ground.
  8. Agree almost totally, although the manager gave up well before February. I will never forget the shocking and telling performance against Newcastle at home. First game after the WC break when we just laid down from the 1st minute, whereas they came out firing and the game was over after 15 mins.
  9. Get out of our club Get out of our club King Power fraudsters Get out of our club Loud and constant from the first whistle
  10. I'm old enough to remember approx 6.5k vs Shrewsbury at Filbert Street in the 80s.
  11. Realistically it is actually worse than the official attendance figures suggest. Our official attendance figures released are way over the actual number of people in the stadium, as they include all ST's sold. There have been a good few thousand empty seats at almost every home game. I would estimate that our real average attendance is around 23k to 24k.
  12. The new KP recruit who put her 'moniker' on the email with the bad payday news for their staff.
  13. Money well spent!
  14. Sorry but I suggest we could quite well be going the same way as Sheffield Wednesday, and this is the start. I also suggest that Susan Whelan knew what would be coming down the track and decided it was time to get out.
  15. Will be just like any other day, radio silence.
  16. Who will?
  17. Looks like King Power will be needing a few more loans in 2026. Oops, wrong thread
  18. July 2022: Brendan Rodgers insists he will not go to war with the hierarchy over the lack of transfer activity. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-brendan-rodgers-transfers-7341949
  19. I remember Chris Nicholl scoring 2 own goals against us and also 2 for Aston Villa in a 2-2 draw at Filbert Street in 1976.
  20. Whoosh. No and do neither BDCR and Wes Morgan.
  21. Our first Jamaican. Gerrimin.
  22. Liverpool managed to coax £10m out of Real Madrid with an early agreement for them to sign him before his contract expired.
