I really hope that we go for him. For where we are now he ticks all the right boxes. Top/Rudkin waiting to pounce after the season ends for Stockport . Don't hold your breath!

We should go all out for Challinor. Would we be prepared to pay the compensation? Would he actually take the job?

Alan Paris anyone?

To give themselves any chance, wearing Martin O'Neill's head as their shirt badge on the night would've been their best option

I've posted similar before. It's madness that clubs (not just us) baulk at paying a few hundred thousand in compensation for a manager. Clubs will piss millions up the wall (frequently us) on bang average players but don't want to pay out considerably less when making what is the most crucially important appointment at the club.
-
Doubt he'd come here. He'll have his sights and ambitions on a better option than us.
-
Quite simple really, the club are not transparent on anything they do. Also they are hell bent on not offering general sale tickets. The club literally hate their own fans.
-
Along with almost the entirety of the Arsenal squad.
-
Is that the reason he missed the last few games?
-
Breaking news! They've been in the bottom 3 since they lost to Napoli on 24th April.
-
Fair enough but I don't quite understand the general dislike for Murphy, not just from you.
-
Surely not? You like Rudkin more? Ayew, Faes, etc?

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Would be good to get this thread to 100 pages by showing more disdain for this awful player. Thread shouldn't really be closed until the retained list is released/he is confirmed as gone. -
Unfortunately not a chance

This didn't age so well.

What was this about and when? We were at our highest point a decade ago.

I think he and some of our other high earning players would take the loan option if possible, just to get out of here and for the sake of what's left of their career. Still unlikely though as no club will be willing to pay the ridiculously inflated wages that we have them on. So any loan deals would mean we are still paying a high percentage of their wages for the remainder of their contracts. We're either stuck with them here or we pay heavily for them elsewhere. Life under Top/Rudkin.

Quick and truthful communications are very unlikely IMO. -

Yes I was there at that match. It was a midweek night match IIRC.
