Playing him gives the opposition a two goal head start.

He’s probably being kind, because I thought when they scored the first goal, the game was gone. That’s how bad we are. -
Same as it ever was.
-
Rob Tanner has criticised him for both goals in The Athletic, and I agree with him. Never been good enough.
-
Another very bad Rodgers signing.

Ex Players - They used to play for us

I felt that Waghorn, never really fulfilled his early promise. He looked electric when he first signed for us. -

Keep up the great work @davieG -
How long have we been on a downward trajectory?

The terrible signings after we won the Prem. High price tags and wages, for the low calibre players. We should have signed as many younger, highly regarded talents, as we possibly could. -
You’ll find players will come and go, and parents not being truthful about what’s happening.

Doesn’t someone always win a trophy in their second season?
-
Brilliant!! Well done Plymouth Love an old school defence.
-
He’s looked lively every time he’s received the ball, but it’s a terrible advert for the Championship.

I must be in a minority, but I think there are small improvements (Everton aside). We can’t continuously keep changing managers. We need to get rid of some of the deadwood, and let him bring in his own players in the summer. -
Played well last night considering he hasn’t had much of a look in recently. Quite possibly the best goal line clearance I’ve seen, and loved the celebration afterwards. We can’t keep playing Vesty, massive slug.
-
Better talker than he was as a finisher.
-
Sloppy play tonight. Knocking the ball square isn’t enough. Too lightweight.

The parents are probably the worst part of it!

And a side ways pass!

I do. started off with young lads that were discarded by two other teams from the same club. Excepted the challenge to give my middle boy a chance to play in a team, as he had zero experience, like the majority of the others. We played one preseason friendly against one of the other teams that didn’t want any of these players. They absolutely battered us, and didn’t take their foot off the gas for one moment. They celebrated every single goal as if they’d just won a major trophy. I didn’t want any favours, but I didn’t expect the management from the same set up, to be so brutal against lads that had been training with them, not so long ago. Straight in to matches and I knew even starting at the bottom level, that you will be coming up against teams that have been together for two or three years. They will have the experience and reasonable technique, know positions etc. We were starting with none of that, and no goal keeper…

David Oldfield would be worth mega bucks these days! Ask your dads

What is his actual midfield role? He doesn’t seem to do much? Tackle? Assist? Pass? Score? My original thoughts of him seem to have come to fruition, sadly.

Faes wasn’t great even in the Championship. Would love to know who scouted and recommended him to us?
-
Could be worth a nibble?
-
Once bitten, twice shy with signing someone like that…

We need an old school defender, body on the line, head and kick everything away. Them pair of piss ants, are embarrassing.
