If after 42 points from 17 games your still having to explain to these morons why this is a good and effective brand of football and appeal to them to be a bit more positive then I say Fuch em, there's no helping them. Ignore them and enjoy the rest of the season historically we haven't had many like this. while they meanwhile burst blood vessels about the so called sideways and backwards football. -
Jamie vardy probably has 10 goals max left in a Leicester shirt. I'm buggered if I'm missing any of them to get home 10 minutes earlier.

We are currently 19 games and 3 months into a gruelling schedule. And we currently have 1 injury. Hopefully this will stop complete meltdowns in future when players get injured and calm down all this nonsense about a seagrave curse. No need for the hysteria all the time. Top athletes get injuries and sometimes in a team sport those injuries build up.

Wishing a happy birthday to Muzzy Izzet! 🎉

What. A. Player. -
People will say he underachieved and considering the ability he showed for 3 seasons here they might be right. But if you had said to him when he was deemed surplus to requirements at Man United and was on loan at Barnsley that he would be retiring with a premier league winners medal, 3 England caps and 50+ million in the bank (pre tax). Then I'm sure he would have bitten your arm off. Personally I got a lot of enjoyment watching him play especially with matty james in the promotion season and of course with kante in 15/16. I wish him all the luck in the world in retirement and hope he can find a bit of peace and happiness that seems like it eluded him when he was playing.

The Championship Thread 2023/2024

Outside of this message board is nige's stock high enough to walk into another championship job? His record since leaving City for the 2nd time is pretty bad. Failed at Derby, failed in Belgium had a huge falling out with the owners at Watford then more or less stood still with Bristol for 3 years. -

All the best to him he's flying but Would you have him starting ahead of ineacho or vardy? Or a 20 year old tom cannon? -
1st, 2nd, play offs it's all the same come August next year. Despite how easy Enzo and the boys are making it look this is a bloody difficult league to get out of. The objective before a ball was kicked was promotion and that remains the same. Quibling about how we do it just shows how ridiculously high the expectations of the fans have become. I was hoping relegation and a year in the championship would cool expectations but no such luck.

People look at filbert street with rose tinted glasses when it was good my god it was good but there was plenty of times where where it would be pretty poor for months on end with 17k rattling around in there. The best period of sustained atmosphere in my life time was by the 2 year period between West Ham at the start of the great escape in April 15 and the atletico quarter final in April 17.the atmosphere in the king power those days was mind blowing most weeks.

Last season it took 9 long months and 38 games to get 34 points. This season we have 36 points in 13 games. What a remarkable Contrast between the mood of the place, What a brilliant Job Enzo and his staff are doing. Up the city.

Must be Nice for union fs that. the club treat them as an annoyance, some of their fellow fans are downright hostile but here's our record breaking manager showing his appreciation clearly greatful to them. Bit of vindication must make it feel worthwhile.

Looks like a local florist or two had a good week!

Shows how much he still loves the place. I know it became an unpopular opinion with some of the more angry, reactionary posters here but we are lucky to have him.

I sit next to sk1 and the atmosphere felt rocking! Clearly doesn't translate to the rest of the ground then.

Domestic Football is being squeezed out.

Fučk elite football, what a grubby, corrupt little business it's become. give me 3rd round replays, the magic of the cup, giant killings over West hame v molde 10 time a fučking season anyday. These oil rich, greedy corporations that the top clubs have become tried to steal the game in one go and failed now they are stealing peice by piece, year on year.- 45 replies

Great stuff anyone got a link for it? Where's he playing?

I actually do agree with some of this. I used to work for a football club and the director of football gave interviews every couple of months and did an annual q and a with the fans. It meant there's transparency and accountability. We get none of that. I think part of the abuse Rudkin gets is because there is a complete vacuum of information and it allows people people to presume or out right make stuff up. Hence the he didn't hire Enzo theories. I disagree with you that the owners overlook his failures I get the impression that he is the owners right hand man so his failures are the owners failures. But people don't want to blame top or talk about him to harshly because it's an unpopular opinion amongst most of the fan base and because of all the shared history and unlike Rudkin you can not understate or belittle the impact they have had on the club.
-
This post totally proves my point. Basically he is responsible for the "the most catastrophic and embarrassing relegation in Premier League history" but other people are responsible for the huge amounts of success we have had during his time here like the Premier league win, fa cup win and 3 go's at Europe. People seem to want to cherry pick what he is and isn't responsible for to suit their own agenda. If your going to judge him negatively or positively then you have to look at his work during the whole of his time here.
-
Rumours started by people that hate Rudkin by any chance? Seems like comple bollocks to me here's a video on Enzos first day getting a tour of the training ground from Top and Rudkin, Enzo puts his arm hand on rudkins back warmly at 1.22 so highly unlikely they didn't know each other and someone else was involved in recruiting him. Always makes me laugh that when things go well he never gets any credit it's always someone elses job yet when things go badly he seems to cop more blame than anyone. You can't really have it both ways if he's culpable for the bad he deserves praise for the good! Like everyone else on foxestalk I don't know specifically what he does day to day but since he's been in his job the club have had far more good days than bad so if you lot want to blame him for the bad days you have to credit him for the good.

The scout or the nut case center back? -
Player of the season so far, give him another 5 years!
-
Has wilf ever assisted vardy before in the 8 years they have been at the club together?

Mate We won 3 nil. Playing some incredibly sexy stuff 2nd half. We have just won 9 out of 10 an unprecedented acivement in the clubs history and pretty much the history of the championship. We are now 5 to 1 on for promotion. And you're ONLY contribution to the board tonight is to dish out a player out a player who is playing pretty well and already has 4 goals and assists. Very strange behaviour.
