  1. Not angry more factual and I sit there and it was not half empty possibly some Walkers Hall seats were empty but this does not translate into 3/4 of hospitality empty which was the observation. This is a debate site and we are allowed to challenge factually inaccurate or over embellishments.
  2. Possibly but without sight of the agreement we will never know. I suspect that there is currently a void as BC Game may not be trading but whoever holds the entitlement does not want to release Leicester. I am positive that if Leicester were unencumbeted to find a sponsor they would.
  3. Leicester signed a 2 year deal with BC Game in summer 2024 so ends summer 2026. If they paid up front even if currently in limbo Leicester may contractually and legally not be in a position to replace them without reimbursing monies paid. A new sponsor would have to be equal to what we repay BC but now we are in the Championship that might be challenging. Hence blank shirts and that might be the case through till summer 26. I could of course be totally wrong.
  4. Where do you get 3/4 of hospitality was empty. Premier Lounge is sold out for the season, not many spaces in Champions Club, some in Restaurant, Walkers Hall 70% get your facts accurate please. I know I visited all these lounges to see people. If your evidence is some visual moment in time you are wrong. The packages at Leicester are commensurate with peers such as Southampton.
  5. Cremona is OK I am in That area next week so going to pop by have friends booking tickets for a couple of big games now. Hope he plays against Napoli I have friends who are huge Napoli fans so plan to go to those games if they don’t clash with the city.
  6. The new caterer had a nightmare first game. Tons of complaints, club engaged heavily with supporters at the highest level last two weeks. Last night was a major step up lots of things fixed, new things that improved food, delivery, service so have to say they did very well. I visited the fan zone and yes it was disappointing spoke with club leadership who noticed the difference between us and Charlton the previous week. Upcoming Matchday experience 90 minutes sign up and pack it out to deliver thoughts and ideas get off the keyboards and turn up please.
  7. Possibly but also the interest rate will be a factor not unusual to pay out and resign at more attractive rates as the markets change just like your home mortgage. Businesses tend to be more agile.
  8. why do you say that I looked up the 3 year payments and it works out plus or minus 100k. Of course it all depends how we spend going forward with both transfer fees and particularly wages. If we stay down for several seasons revenue I would expect to drop as people will be disillusioned. Hospitality across the whole of football already seems to be in recession. I am getting wholesale offers for discounts across the `EPL and EFL so that’s a concern. The next TV contract will also be the interesting waypoint.
  9. I think it’s against EPL payments assuming we are not promoted and the parachute payments schedules. If promoted that would be settled and paid from the TV revenue being back in the EPL. This facility and the clearing of the decks suggests to me strategy around a complete reset. Clear the dead wood, reduce the wage bill, take parachute payments and start afresh after the incoming penalties from the corrupt PSR. This is what I would do but of course the club will never say it as it will be seen as lacking ambition.
  10. This is just normal business the recent facilities are against parachute payments and agreed payments by west ham for Hermansen. They are not loans per se but secured loan facilities I.e. a fiscal arrangement that the club can access when and if they need to. It is not a given that they took all this right away. Business does this all the time to ensure liquidity. I do this for small start ups all the time they get a contract or purchase order and we provide access to cash to keep them solvent for a fee. Smart business people always use other peoples money. You give your deposits to the bank they give you 1% they loan your money at 5% and pocket 4% in profits that’s how it works. The lender gets to cash flow and charge its customers 8% to cover the cost. Unfortunately football on the whole loses money so that’s the challenge.
  11. I think this is fair my dealings have always been positive. As an employee there are areas he cannot address and I am sure as a supporter he has his moments of doubt . I know for a fact he has faced some unacceptable behaviors from individuals but gets on with the job. Please remember the mid level staff are the public face sometimes delivering messages and policies dictated from above as with any organization.
  12. True if you want competitive leagues spending is set at 95% of the income of the lowest income in the division. Coaches then have to coach and develop to that. Breaches are clear up to 5% overspend 5 point deduction, up to 10% 10 points. Over 10 up to 20% 30 point deduction. Over 20% automatic relegation. Never going to happen but oh what fun to watch.
  13. Let’s be sensible there are no truthful honest or accurate journalists in the world and that applies to the asunder more than anyone. This is not opinion but based on fact I have observed first hand lies from the BBC, CNN and others. At this moment in time we can sell and sign anyone there is no instruction form football authorities actual, implied or agreed. The charges against us have not even been heard yet. If you analyse our finances it is reasonable that we may be censured if not for this fiscal period certainly for the next one. Right now like any sensible business we are reestablishing compliance in a new budget environment. We rebuild but that’s not the view of journalist why let accuracy get in the way of a story. The reality is that with the crooked PSR it will take 3 seasons to get us back on a level where we might aspire again to the EPL. Look around other clubs are being held back by the corrupt EPL and EFL so do not believe the Sun.
  14. They cannot anymore there will never be another surprise like Leicester. Masters the puppet having his strings pulled has ensured that. Slowly the penny is dropping but do the non big six owners have the backbone to get together and vote out PSR I strongly doubt it. The game needs a hero to make a formal complaint to the competition authorities. The current rules are anti competitive.i fear though no one has the balls.
  15. Fofana was brilliant business for us all that money for a sick note player now sidelined at Chelsea. That alone shows it is not just us that makes errors. They even sent him to the USA for a second medical opinion and got it wrong. We had Edourad all last year and never played him then Glassner is putting him on last night in a European competition. Managers and coaches see players totally differently to supporters.
  16. Yes at its height also had Loughborough, Melton and London. Loughborough split off as a separate entity due to a disagreement with the main branch management.
  17. True some of these have been dismally attended please register and turn up tell them specifically what you want don’t leave it to groups with agendas let’s hear the voice of the supporters. Bring new ideas that you believe people want. I personally want a greater focus on football and not social causes.
  18. Information I have heard is that there were more issues with cards than digital tickets which is amusing. 15 minutes before kick off queues seemed no longer or slower than previous seasons. Families with multiple tickets on one phone cause minor delays. There were less issues at Leicester than at some EPL clubs who had temporary melt downs not due to NFT but server issues and lack of clarity on changes. Birmingham will be a test as more arrive later at night games.
  19. Update for those who care the club reacted immediately and changes are in place for the Birmingham game.
  20. So you want us to go under and be picked up for a song. Birmingham cost 40 million Wrexham less but they have had no financial scrutiny till this season. This is the first time they face PSR let’s see what happens.
  21. To secure a sale someone probably has to come up with 400 million cash. If you know someone I reckon Top would be interested. They will also need to guarantee another to million to ensue we are considered a going concern. To be honest anyone willing to put 450 million aside for Leicester City would have to be a deep fan.
  22. You have to analyze him as a player and ask what is it that managers de that we do not. For a sizable man he has no physical presence and no strength in the challenge. He is reasonably tall but useless in the air. When an opportunity to break forward is on he turns back. He cannot shoot or take corners, free kicks. He has complete brain fart moments where opposition players breeze past as if he is totally unaware. So what am I missing what does he actually add to a team.
  23. The issues have been raised today with the club not just this lounge but many others. This is the new American caterer. I ask all to let the club directly know about the issues it’s the only way things get addressed. Contact the hospitality team and register your comments.
  24. I drop people by the end of Filbert Way then park at areas opposite the infirmary. You do need to be there at least an hour before kick off. After game I reverse the process.
  25. This club just cannot grow young talent if we do not give him game time soon he will be seeking an exit and cannot say I blame him. He has just over 10 years of a career left and he should have ambitions beyond the bench or another loan move.
