Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?
Globalfox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bottling has no official description. I think it’s more about the lack of a spine which does seem to run through the club. We are not strong in the tackle, poor at set pieces and generally upper body strength is non existent. It was the same under Rodgers so for me we are easy to bully out of the game and it happened again yesterday. Our forwards especially pull out of 50/50 balls against keepers Daka being the worst offender. -
Is there anyway you can start earlier say 12.15 those of us in hospitality will be inside by 13.45 or is there somewhere else to drop off?

Rail industry seeks fans’ views on train travel
Globalfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don’t bother complete waste of tim e the survey does not ask or facilitate any responses to the real challenges impacting choosing to travel by rail to football matches. It’s a tick the box approach to say they consulted users. Shame on the FSA for putting their name to it. -
More Problems with Digital Tickets?
Globalfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just to be clear there is nothing wrong with Digital Tickets they work perfectly for most The problem is mostly to do with phone manufacturer updates and the inability of phone users to update their phones immediately when updates are rolled out. The NFT and latest Apple software OS updates work fine. The issue is phones that have not been updated. It currently is only an Apple Issue so the title of this thread is wrong there is nothing wrong with the digital ticket you could have similar issues with theatre, cinema, rail or air tickets. -
Why not get a normal membership when I have lived overseas always had the normal using my overseas address. International is a waste of time. Regularly got tickets for home games no problem and even some away games. One season club even gave me extra points seeing how many times I had been over.

Speechless why did we buy Cannon? Well let’s see what this brings us.

Yes it’s a term drawdown for fixed period. Can be extended on different terms. That’s why the forum reacts each time a charge is lodged. If you work it out right now the interest charges are pretty stable. Now if they take new loans on land development that may be different. I suspect any expansion will be financed differently and is waiting for more favorable terms. Would not be surprised to see parts of the development to be taken on by partners and only stadium by the club.

But they were negotiating about a non collateral loan. Leicester are in effect factoring against agreed payments at a fixed interest rate. Totally different financial arrangements do not try and link apples and oranges. Plus Leicester and this bank have a long standing relationship of this type Wilkins was a cold customer high risk deal.

Each to their own when we lived in KL and Houston kept mine and travelled regularly. Still live some way from Leicester and go most games. If you are not going to use it releasing to someone who will us good.

It’s sad to say but I would give up promotion to avoid VAR. the fact is it sterilizes the game and removes instantaneous joy and heartbreak. If it had improved decision making you might forgive it but it has not. Let’s also go back to one substitute and an outfield player in goal when the keeper is injured. Get IFAB to stop listening to Arsehole Wenger and his mad ideas. Just stop messing with rules.

Buying a membership guarantees nothing when I lived overseas I regularly called the club direct and explained and they often helped out sourcing a ticket. It’s illegal but ask on here or go to a ticket agency. Buy hospitality always a way in but you need to sit with the Millwall. Just buy in the Millwall seats is always an option but sit on your hands and mouth.

Travel disruption - trains, planes, automobiles and parking
Globalfox replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes it will be bad again in fact Club have told box holders and hospitality to try and be as early as 5.30 due to concerns. If you want to get away easy stay out beyond the roadworks and walk in. -
Would love to know why you say this and on what basis. I have season tickets in hospitality and use hospitality at away grounds and Leicester are very competitive. QPR and Swansea both more expensive. Blackburn a rip off. One of the reasons we struggle to move the expansion on is the lack of high return sales such as hospitality. You cannot compete in the Premier League without high end revenue, ordinary matchday punters don’t cut it. An extra 10000 at only 30 quid a pop will not move the needle. An extra 30 boxes is better margins but Leicester does not have the big spenders to make it work. It’s like long haul flights no profit in the back it’s all in the Premium Seats.

Players can't deal any more with this overload."
Globalfox replied to fuchsntf's topic in Leicester City Forum
And yet all these big mouth managers won’t stand up to their bosses. Don’t join the Carabao Or FA Cup. Don’t play in UEFA and FIFA Mickey Mouse cups. Tell UEFA dump the Mickey Mouse Nations League, tell your owners no stupid pre season overseas meaningless competitions. It’s in their hands do something or shut up. -
Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan
Globalfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I admire The player for once he has listened reasoned that it does not suit him and taken control of his career. That’s not poor mentality it’s a very strong one. He could have like many, said I will sit on the money and play badly in a system that does not suit me. I wish him well because we still do not know if this Maresca style will deliver, he was found out by Hull let’s see if others work it out.- 367 replies

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan
Globalfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Maresca has made it clear that he has no place for a traditional left back so it makes sense for those players to depart. The issue will come if Maresca fails then a more traditional formation coach will have few resources. So far his plan is working. -
The issue must be with people because the technology works fine. Never had a problem with it at Leicester or multiple other grounds where my tickets have come through the same system. The challenges to those who do not have phone etc are faced by them flying with many airlines and train companies. You can get a paper ticket see them all the time so what’s the issue. It’s a fact a whole swathe of society want digital only and business loves to push burdens to customers. By the way it is not an age thing I fall in the ‘old’ category. By the way the push is from the Premier League and EFL as a group not just Leicester City

I filled out the survey and I support maintaining the blackout so that’s one. If you believe in live football attendance and many I go to games with do you support the blackout. Professional football is becoming a supplier of TV episodes and the live game will die. I agree I am surprised how few fans completed the survey.

I have my moans about Foxes Trust. I consult in football and spectator access. This was a good piece by the FSA and all clubs were encouraged to share it widely it was not targeted at Leicester or anyone else. The fact is that although across the number of us who attend incidents low they are on the rise. Severity has also risen the City supporter at Forest is an example. Football Clubs as employers have legal responsibilities to protect their employees in the work place. Remember the dark days of fencing they were awful but could return if the events referred to are not held in check. Society also demands different behaviors than the violent years I have experienced both and can agree some of the matchday experience has altered forever. Ignore this advice at your peril football fans further sterilization of the experience is likely to be enforced.

The real cost of gambling sponsorship
Globalfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Millions of us gamble sensibly with no negative impact on our lives or anyones else. If advertising makes you gamble then you are the problem not the entity offering the service. It seems these days that everything has to be modified to manage the weak minded in our society. I see nothing has been mentioned about the loss of external revenue we lost through the departure of FBS. Foxes Trust are obviously happy for us to struggle as a viable entity. Leave me alone to enjoy my legal practices and not restrict me through odd individuals failings. -
Club Thanks Smith, Shakespeare and Terry

What exactly are we thanking them for being well paid and overseeing the final failure. Football really is a sad profession. -
Rudders & Whelan to review this season’s failings next week
Globalfox replied to JimmyC74's topic in Leicester City Forum
The big picture is that the senior management have much wider remits for King Power than the football club. Hence why seismic change is wholly unlikely. We think it’s our club but that’s only spiritually Top is a newcomer compared to many of us. Fully expect no changes at the Board and Executive level. The real question is to they have the balls and expertise to start selecting competent people. Given the last two years I fear the answer is no. -
Kasper Schmeichel officially joins Nice
Globalfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just because we had a bit of success is no reason to hang on to past stars. They are old and gone now just sucking money. Kasparov wanted to go to have a last chance at European football. His decision. We have too much cobweb aging stars time to say no more. Dump Morgan, Huth, Evans, Vardy, Albrighton with thanks but we need bight, hard working young players for a future. Need someone at the top of the club with ruthless desire and decision making not the rest home for has been a we have become.
