Rather stupid thread the board is Top his brother their Chinese mate and Susan Whelan. Last year they changed the articles of association to only need one director as a quorum. So Top says what he wants and that’s it so unless he sells there is no sack the board.. his money his board decision made.

Only Villa and Chelsea worse than us. To be honest it’s better than I was expecting. Chasing success on our income is just not possible. We fell lucky when we won the league but quickly paid the price literally. I said for a while we were never prepared for success and got hammered on over inflated deals. The current rules will change as not fit for purpose. Will not help us now. We are poorly managed in all aspects. We need a real hard ass to keep Top and Rudkin in check dump the soft Buddhist crap.

Choudray like a stone statue watching the player take his time to score. Complete useless individual wonder why we have fallen apart last six games look no further.

Sorry but Madvadidi is a complete waste of space.

Everyone is not moaning a handful of people on social media is not everyone. So the question is flawed. Those of us not moaning as well as those who do have legitimate observations. It’s football some are right some are wrong. Some are driven by inadequate journalistic speculation. I learnt Tuesday night how tightly the club control journalist access and I bet there are many revel in petty revenge and false stories. You pays your money you have the right to opinions but just like the Fans Consultative Council on line forums represent a small portion of the fan base. Moan away it’s entertaining.

We all have opinions but I think we lose sight of why FFP was introduced that was to stop clubs going out of existence through overspending. Why because owners had no sense in some cases spending way beyond their means and things being too far gone to come back from the brink. A major club going under could have brought the whole pile down. The next issue was perennial failures to pay HMRC. Government was never going to let that continue and FFP has improved not completely solved it. FFP is not well designed because there were no precedents. Hence it morphed into PSR. Clubs are still not well run in many ways and we are a fair example. We never planned to be successful and ended up over paying players including many average ones who have sat and piled on the pounds at our expense. The challenge is that the revenue difference across the leagues is just too great. The upcoming FA Cup tie at Chelsea shows this. Large numbers of sales of seats at 750 pounds plus makes more than Leicesters Whole West Stand including hospitality. Simple we just don’t compete and never will.

Most sensible quote on here the challenge will be what he wants for it. Right now we are likely worth less than half what King Power has put in. Will he cut his losses?
-
New hotel and commercial complex are two and three, global property portfolio is number 4 king power polo five, king power racing six, the list goes on. We probably now only rank ahead of OH Leuven
-
Be honest we now have an absent owner as Top has been to maybe 5 home games and none away this season. Rudkin has been visibly absent a lot as well. King Power attention is elsewhere and we probably rank 6th or 7th in their business investments. Past bad decisions mean FFP punishments loom close and tie the hands of management. The academy is a flagship asset but it is not delivering a lot of high quality assets to grow, sell and replenish. We get no parachute payments if we get promoted this season which will make us limited in the Premier League so unlikely to be able to invest heavily beyond what we have now. Fiscal reality is that two more seasons in the Championship, deadwood clearance and sensible rebuild is best path forward. If you want rid of King Power you need someone better and there is no one that I see on the horizon.

Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?
Globalfox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bottling has no official description. I think it’s more about the lack of a spine which does seem to run through the club. We are not strong in the tackle, poor at set pieces and generally upper body strength is non existent. It was the same under Rodgers so for me we are easy to bully out of the game and it happened again yesterday. Our forwards especially pull out of 50/50 balls against keepers Daka being the worst offender. -
Is there anyway you can start earlier say 12.15 those of us in hospitality will be inside by 13.45 or is there somewhere else to drop off?

Rail industry seeks fans’ views on train travel
Globalfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don’t bother complete waste of tim e the survey does not ask or facilitate any responses to the real challenges impacting choosing to travel by rail to football matches. It’s a tick the box approach to say they consulted users. Shame on the FSA for putting their name to it. -
More Problems with Digital Tickets?
Globalfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just to be clear there is nothing wrong with Digital Tickets they work perfectly for most The problem is mostly to do with phone manufacturer updates and the inability of phone users to update their phones immediately when updates are rolled out. The NFT and latest Apple software OS updates work fine. The issue is phones that have not been updated. It currently is only an Apple Issue so the title of this thread is wrong there is nothing wrong with the digital ticket you could have similar issues with theatre, cinema, rail or air tickets. -
Why not get a normal membership when I have lived overseas always had the normal using my overseas address. International is a waste of time. Regularly got tickets for home games no problem and even some away games. One season club even gave me extra points seeing how many times I had been over.

Speechless why did we buy Cannon? Well let’s see what this brings us.
-
Yes it’s a term drawdown for fixed period. Can be extended on different terms. That’s why the forum reacts each time a charge is lodged. If you work it out right now the interest charges are pretty stable. Now if they take new loans on land development that may be different. I suspect any expansion will be financed differently and is waiting for more favorable terms. Would not be surprised to see parts of the development to be taken on by partners and only stadium by the club.
-
But they were negotiating about a non collateral loan. Leicester are in effect factoring against agreed payments at a fixed interest rate. Totally different financial arrangements do not try and link apples and oranges. Plus Leicester and this bank have a long standing relationship of this type Wilkins was a cold customer high risk deal.

Each to their own when we lived in KL and Houston kept mine and travelled regularly. Still live some way from Leicester and go most games. If you are not going to use it releasing to someone who will us good.
-
It’s sad to say but I would give up promotion to avoid VAR. the fact is it sterilizes the game and removes instantaneous joy and heartbreak. If it had improved decision making you might forgive it but it has not. Let’s also go back to one substitute and an outfield player in goal when the keeper is injured. Get IFAB to stop listening to Arsehole Wenger and his mad ideas. Just stop messing with rules.
-
Buying a membership guarantees nothing when I lived overseas I regularly called the club direct and explained and they often helped out sourcing a ticket. It’s illegal but ask on here or go to a ticket agency. Buy hospitality always a way in but you need to sit with the Millwall. Just buy in the Millwall seats is always an option but sit on your hands and mouth.

Travel disruption - trains, planes, automobiles and parking
Globalfox replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes it will be bad again in fact Club have told box holders and hospitality to try and be as early as 5.30 due to concerns. If you want to get away easy stay out beyond the roadworks and walk in. -
Would love to know why you say this and on what basis. I have season tickets in hospitality and use hospitality at away grounds and Leicester are very competitive. QPR and Swansea both more expensive. Blackburn a rip off. One of the reasons we struggle to move the expansion on is the lack of high return sales such as hospitality. You cannot compete in the Premier League without high end revenue, ordinary matchday punters don’t cut it. An extra 10000 at only 30 quid a pop will not move the needle. An extra 30 boxes is better margins but Leicester does not have the big spenders to make it work. It’s like long haul flights no profit in the back it’s all in the Premium Seats.
