How are you getting on with them? I've been using a pair of Anker ones for a while and I'm getting fed up of the sound quality tbqh but the Bluetooth is so convenient for my different devices that I can't be arsed going back to cable now. Last time I took a headphone recommendation from you I ended up with a ten year addiction to e10s.

Months before, in fact the season before, we got relegated there were those of us arguing with the likes of Dahnsouff and probably yourself that we were starting to create troublingly few chances and that our xG plummeting and PPG sliding was going to be a problem longer term. Most of the same people downplaying our concerns then are in this thread now saying everything is fine because we're outside the relegation zone and we've picked up points in spite of the underlying stats.

Vards, Wout, Wilf, JJ, VK, Mads have started every league game. Fatawu and Mavididi have played in every game. My money is on the story being completely made up. But if it isn't, it's probably Faes, JJ or Vardy. Just because JJ is playing over Ricardo it doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't say nice things about him, especially given they both played in a lot of games last year together and JJ quite possibly considers himself a better LB than VK.

I see it as the opposite, to be honest. Confirmation that he does want to step away from management longer term. He's always been cut a little bit different, to be fair, it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to retire from management "early." Let's be honest, if he wanted to actually manage a Red Bull club, they'd all just sack their managers now to have him.

Not gonna lie, when you get to the point of arguing over flag waving techniques in a football crowd, I think you've had enough Internet for the day.
-
He's a ****ing literal crime lord not to mention match fixer. He's ****ing nuts. I know you can't help who owns your club and it's not quite as ugly as, say, Newcastle but have some self awareness and shame.

No but the international break has just started so now everyone immediately has to up the jibberish content by a good 28.7% minimum.

FWIW I wouldn't be surprised if we're calling Mads Hermansen a generational talent in five to ten years time. Haven't felt as positively about a player we've signed since Kante. If we'd had him the last time we were in the Premier League, we'd probably have been comfortably lower mid table.

100%. Was hilarious in here watching everyone go from "RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE" to "what a lovely man, he's going to be great!" after he did one Q&A with our fans. He's definitely a likable guy who "gets" British football fans in a way that someone like Maresca didn't.

Every manager we've ever had has sparked furious debate on here. Often the most passionate debate comes when there's really quite an overwhelming majority arguing with one or two stubborn hold outs who, I'm pretty sure, just do it to be different. I think the forum was fairly united in being unimpressed with Puel much as it is with Cooper and much as it was with Rodgers in his last year. But Pearson was genuinely divisive. As in, there was a pretty significant number of people arguing for either side with a far more even split and even today people can't all fully agree on his legacy.

You weren't here for the Pearson years were you

I have absolutely no idea what's come over anyone that thinks he'll be sacked in this international window. We just won a game and we're 15th with winnable matches against Southampton and Forest on the horizon. I desperately want him replaced (and sooner the better, every week he's here he's undoing Maresca's excellent work) but not for one second do I think it's going to happen imminently.
-
I'm sorry, are you implying that you think I think Arne Slot would have come here? I'm not suggesting those specific managers should have been our shortlist. I'm just saying Premier League experience wasn't a necessity. Our last manager had practically no senior management experience at all and was a great success. There are countless football managers in the world. Limiting yourself to ones who have managed in this one specific league is a stupid thing to do.
-
I mean, we didn't, did we? Liverpool's manager with no Premier League experience, who is replacing a generational talent, is doing fine. Brighton's manager with no Premier League experience, who is 12 years old, is doing fine. Chelsea's manager with no Premier League experience, who we were going to have this year, is doing fine. And it's not like we hired Moyes or Benitez. Cooper has a small amount of Prem experience and it's with a largely losing record. It doesn't matter how you try and justify it, it was still a hideous bit of recruitment.
-
Can we just get one thing very clear. Making unfunny and hurtful comments about the man's physical appearance is "vitriol." Claiming he isn't good enough to be our manager and wanting him replaced by someone that is of the quality to manage at this level is just a footballing opinion. People are hateful about not just Cooper but pretty much everyone in football at some point or other. But this isn't 146 pages of vitriol, it's 146 pages of frustration that the club thought a man who had a Premier League win percentage of about 20% and an average of 0.91 points per game at this level was the man to replace Enzo Maresca.

NES is a Premier League calibre manager, even if quite a mid / low tier one. Steve Cooper is not.
-
He's always been a good manager, he's just one with a ceiling. He's never going to turn you in to the next Barcelona but he's a decent enough coach for a solid and unspectacular mid table team.
-
Which one
-
They keep paying tens of millions on strikers that mid table level finishers at best. They've wasted more money than any club on the planet over the last twenty years it's mental.
-
He's had the system completely changed on him. He was the perfect pivot in Maresca's system and he had Ricardo and Vestergaard to play with. Cooper has just ****ed him like the rest of the team.

Doesn't matter if he touches it. He tries to play it. Pretty sure that's enough.

Absolute stonewall foul on Facundo. Ridiculous.
