It was a good press and Hermansen never should have played it to him in the first place. He was ****ed from the outset. His best choices were probably either turn towards the corner, shield it and hope to mitigate and wait for the defence to take up shape or to just yeet it up the pitch and go long. Playing in to that box is suicide.

Maguire was a much more reliable defender here than Faes tbh. Before his confidence got shattered he was a very good, Europa League, top 8 kinda centre back. He just flew too close to the sun and got caught up in the toxic United mess.
