I'm not sure this is fair. We appear to have scouted and had considerable interest in Ramon Sosa, Mathias Soulé, Richard Rios, Fotis Ioannidis, Adam Hlozek, Mandela Keita, Florentino Luis et all. Not to mention Abdul Fatawu, Stephy Mavididi and Mads Hermansen. It's not on Glover if either Rudkin can't do a deal or we suddenly get a new manager that doesn't want all the players he's been working on for a year because we don't have a director of football and the club are letting the head coaches have far too much of a say on the development of the squad.

I know this frustrates the hell out of people but in fairness that isn't as terrible a bit of business as we act. It would have been only breaking even on him and only 3ish million profit that footballing year. We probably felt that cashing in on a loan fee and hoping he kick-starts his career on loan to inflate his value was a better deal. Obviously it's not worked out like that now in hindsight but you can see the logic looking back.

Yeah but our owners are wealthy. It doesn't matter if you aren't allowed to spend it. Fulham have a pretty small stadium and next to zero global commercial footprint.
