  1. Yeah good shout that one. Either way.
  2. It's mad that anyone can think a conspiracy would be AGAINST Everton, one of the massive old guard clubs of the Premier League. Completely braindead. But then that's Scouse entitlement and persecution complex for you, its not unique to the red half.
  3. Again, same thing, stop getting angry at the authorities when the people we should all be mad at are the owners. I said this in the Everton thread a while back I think but the difference between Man City and Everton/Forest is that there is zero risk to the future of Manchester City Football Club. The only point in enforcing "fair play" rules against them is to curb their dominance if you're the likes of United, Liverpool, Arsenal et all in the Old Guard who feel threatened. But Everton and Forest's owners are recklessly overspending drastically beyond their means and the crime is that it'll all be balanced with loans borrowed against the club and all of that sneaky underhanded shit so the billionaires walk away still billionaires and the club as an institution is what's left saddled with the debt. THEN the supporters and staff of those clubs are TRULY fvcked. These sorts of sanctions are healthy for those clubs if it helps either drive bad owners out or forces them to change their practices.
  4. What depresses me is their fans getting angry at the authorities instead of their own owners who have quite obviously hideously mismanaged their respective clubs. The whole world saw this coming for Forest, they signed literal meme amounts of players, the whole planet was laughing at them. Their owner is an actual fvcking pirate, like what was anyone expecting.
  5. Hahahahahahahahahahahahhaa
  6. Wasn't this itself supposed to be a nod to the 90s away kits?
  7. It's not odd at all, it's over correcting. Lots of us do it all the time. You make a mistake so you swing a hard opposite the other way to adjust and make another mistake. Brendan Rodgers used to do it all the time. Maresca didn't bring Hamza on, we concede a late goal, so now we're under pressure so brings on Hamza and goes far too defensive without an out and invites the pressure. The difference, hopefully, is that Rodgers was a seasoned and experienced manager who should have known better where as Maresca is a rookie manager who has currently been with us longer than he's been in any other senior managerial position. I've got no issue with people fvcking up, whoever they are and whatever they do. It's the inability to learn that frustrates. If Enzo keeps making mistakes like that every time he faces pressure he'll have a difficult career. But he seems like a very intelligent and very studious man so hopefully that won't be the case.
  8. Eeeehhhhh...
  9. Yeah. Even accepting the manager got it wrong I still don't see the drama. Yes, he probably handled the red card badly, he's also in his first ever full season of management. What are people expecting? We either went out, hired an experienced known quantity of a manager who was willing to come to a Championship club (ie someone we knew was pretty average) or we took a risk on a young manager hoping to find a hidden diamond. I'd rather we have Maresca than, say, Mowbray or Farke but it means accepting he's going to fvck up sometimes when he encounters new and difficult situations.
  10. We don't really need "favours", we're a million points clear on course for a record total. We just had a shit day and responded badly to a red card. Not the end of the world.
  11. You live and learn. It's his first full season of professional management and one of the first times he'll ever have had to deal with being down to ten.
  12. He's really come in to his own this year but Faes has to be blocking that shot. Almost gets out of the way. It should never have gotten by him. Disappointing.
  13. Callum O'Hare's Jack Grealish cosplay attempt reminds me of that Vardy imitator when we won the league.
  14. If this finishes 10 v 11 I'll be surprised.
  15. He goes flying in a hundred miles an hour with both his feet off the ground and wipes the guy out. Everyone was so happy and excited to get rid of VAR, maybe if he doesn't make much contact VAR would have watched it back and let him off. But the ref has to judge that at full speed as it happened and to all the world that's a red. It's an absolutely insane challenge, what is he doing making thag tackle in the 45th minute in their own half with no danger around. I like Fatawu but that's bonkers. It's a red all day I'm not sure why anyone's defending it.
  16. It's closer to a red than it is to not being a penalty, yes.
  17. Mate He's got both of those calls pretty much bang on. That's a ridiculous challenge from Fatawu.
  18. It is, Mark. Doesn't matter if he wins the ball, it's unbelievably reckless and he goes through the knee with his studs at height and with pace. It's a foul because it's dangerous play and it's a penalty. Remember when Vards got a red card against Wolves a couple years ago? He won the ball and we were all outraged but he went straight through the ball and took out the player dangerously at the same time. It's just football in this day and age. You can't fly wildly in to tackles now and not give away fouls.
  19. That's horrendous. Could well have been a red elsewhere on the pitch. "How is he able to stop himself?" Maybe not dive in at knee height with your studs!?!?
  20. Bit harsh. It's not the easiest chance and he missed by an inch or so.
  21. It's not been our best performance I agree but it's also been pretty low energy without giving too much up whilst they're really working extremely hard. I dont think Enzo will be too gutted by that. Especially given we've just had the best chance of the game whilst I type this.
  22. Nobody has been particularly bad or good so far. Just playing our way in to the game and riding out their energy. This'll definitely be a game (probably like the home game) where they wear themselves out and we finish stronger.
  23. Game could do with a bit more Fatawu
  24. Frank Sinclair flash backs
  25. Is that Dion on comms?
