We're building the team around him and whilst we'll always be a club that up sells our assets occasionally to reinvest and build, I don't think we've ever been particularly stupid or suicidal in who we've sold under King Power ownership have we? We'll sell him when it suits us (if we sell him at all) and it'll be for a massive amount of money when we feel comfortable and safe. He's not going anywhere this season or next.

Yeah it's a bit of a weird one. £4m hasn't been the going rate for a decent prospect from the Championship for a while. I quite like "the other" JJ, decent all round midfielder. Hasn't quite struck me as an obvious top half Serie A talent but Atalanta typically have a good idea. Definitely think he'll mostly have a career as a top flight footballer. Would take him over Casadei on current form.

Probably this. Ward and Iversen surely we can find homes for, it'll depend on their professional pride vs. the wages we pay them. There's no way anyone's going to want Danny Ward that's going to match anything like his salary here but you'd think Iversen could comfortably get a job in the Championship and I doubt we pay him huge wedge. I can see Iheanacho being the most high profile departure. Cannon and Daka are contracted and he isn't, it just doesn't make any sense to keep him around if we can get a bit of money selling him to a Premier League club that need goals and want to jump the queue. Just feels like it's pointless him staying now. I don't see us bringing too many in unless we get a fantastic opportunity. Just doesn't make sense. We're 99% promoted we might as well just wait and hold on to our cash for the summer when we'll have better prospects lined up to sign for the Prem. If we're confident Doyle isn't going to be a recurring injury then we probably don't need a left footed CB, we've been fine without him so getting him back is just a bonus. So surely just an 8 on loan or a good prospect if we can find one for cash will probably do the trick. Only real risk to the rest of our season I see is an injury to KDH. I don't like the idea of Yunus or Casadei having to be first choice as a CM for too long.

Think this is a bit melodramatic imo. He's closer to 40 than 30, he's just got an injury, it isn't surprising. He'll play more games and score more goals this season, probably maintaining the same 0.6ish goals per 90 we've seen so far which is a respectable return for a striker playing in a team performing as we are. Don't see him having a major impact next year. I'd happily see him stay on in a similar capacity to Albrighton, Morgan et all mostly just a cheerleader come almost coach but he probably fancies playing a bit more and wouldn't be surprised if he goes off for a pay day. Either way, I expect Cannon and one of Daka or Iheanacho to start the majority of the remaining games between them. Nobody was expecting Vardy to be first choice all year this year, were they?

Yeah they make a poor midfield together to be honest. Either of Casadei or Akgun with either of KDH or Wilf and we'd notice deficiencies in the loanees less I think but we definitely lack a presence in the middle when they're both there. I thought Winks and Ricardo stepped up well to compensate against Huddersfield. Sheff Weds was a shambles.

It definitely doesn't help him that he's being asked to cover a box to box midfield role though, to be fair, which I don't think is either his game or why we signed him. I doubt we were expecting Fatawu to be this consistent and I think we were hoping to get in an extra midfielder in the summer. We literally had McAtee at the training ground before Sheff Utd came back last minute, no? Then Praet gets injured to compound the shortage and Casadei has struggled to find his feet.

Vardy, Cannon, Daka is all the strikers we need if we let Iheanacho go and if we don't we're stocked. We have four of them, all who have scored at an extremely competitive rate when played, and we play a one striker system. 8 and "Doyle" cover are our priorities I'd imagine. Wouldn't surprise me if all we do is bring in another box to box midfielder on loan and look to use the window to sell or loan the guys that aren't playing or are running out their contracts.

Fatawu's equivalent video was absolutely terrible. Made him look largely shit. YouTube is a funny beast. For young players like Dwomoh who played an extremely tiny number of real professional games, getting enough clips to put a highlight reel together is a challenge. Can often make these videos really unflattering. Then of course once a player has played enough televised games it becomes easy to do the opposite and make someone absolutely bollocks look like Pele. Dwomoh is a highly regarded prospect in Belgium who is being watched by quite a lot of clubs around Europe.

When was the last time the top five of the Premier League were separated by three points going in to the new year? This feels like a bigger deal than I've heard mentioned but then I guess I've mostly been ignoring the Prem this year.
