  1. Outgoings very quiet this morning. Wouldn't surprise me if we're fairly locked in now given we appear to have started moving on our own targets.
  2. I'd imagine Ramsey is instead of Rak Sakyi. Think it'll be James loan with option, Carranza loan with conditional obligation, Ramsey straight loan. Business done.
  3. It's because a Wikipedia editor saw him having his medical at Morrisons earlier hahahahahahhaha
  4. His current employer IS foxestalk
  5. Well, for a start, you wouldn't get Hayden Hackney on loan with a €5m option.
  6. Sorry, that was about Rubin Colwill. JJ would and should 100% start ahead of Skipp. If its true, I expect him to start as one of the 6s.
  7. I nearly shat mesen then. Was about to tag @AjcW for his Unexpected thread.
  8. I mean, they're a tabloid that push a lot of drivel. We've been linked to loads of players by them before.
  9. He should probably be in the squad but he's nowhere near good enough to be starting. Wouldn't improve Leicester's starting 11.
  10. He's absolutely not off the Bellingham Birmingham pipeline and people need to chill a bit. But he's a solid box to box midfielder with a lot of energy and he's definitely better than what we've got. A loan and then a five million euro fee would be great business.
  11. Yeah yeah, I know. But it's the most screamingly obvious need. The Carranza rumours look quite credible and he's exactly the profile of loan signing I'd expect. I reckon him and JJ get done.
  12. I'm extremely confident we'd have been bringing in a striker one way or another regardless.
  13. I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with this one rumour
  14. This is the best thing I've ever seen on Foxestalk Dungeons and Dragons so mainstream, it's getting chucked in randomly as analogy on a football forum.
  15. That's just his amortisation. You also have to consider his loyalty fee. As much as people are incredulous about this now, you need to remember he was highly desired when we signed him. Pretty sure even Liverpool were interested? Wouldn't surprise me if there's a whole load of other extras due when we sell him.
  16. He's absolutely terrible as a 10 and terrible dropping deep. He slows play down constantly and, like a pound shop Grealish, thinks the best thing he can do for his team is win a set piece. When we rarely score from set pieces. I'd rather play Rudkin himself at 10. I can't wait til his contract expires. I just think Cifuentes seems to like his attitude and we might as well get used to him playing regardless. He never takes the guy off the pitch. Given that it's not the only glaring flaw in the squad, I just think we'll focus elsewhere.
  17. I will if the puns keep up..
  18. I mean, almost the entire squad can and should be improved. We're left with extremely few players who are genuinely excellent for a club in our position. I'm not saying Cifuentes thinks Ayew is Messi reborn. I just think he'll see him as good enough and that a striker, winger and box to box midfielder are more important.
  19. Absolute bagsman Jordan Ayew always here just in case.
  20. As much as the thought is horrific, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we don't actually bring in an attacking midfielder because we think Ayew is good enough at 10. JJ, Carranza and Rak-Sakyi on loans by 7pm wouldn't shock me. Option / conditional obligations on the first two, probably not with Rak-Sakyi.
  21. I'm sorry but as much as I like JJ, he isn't KDH. I think there's things he does better, think he's stronger and probably more hard working. Probably a bit more reliable passing the ball. But he's absolutely not going to suddenly provide 20 goal contributions in a season for the first time ever because we will it. They're white boys with a bit of hussle and they play in midfield but that's pretty much the beginning and end of the comparison.
  22. I'm in the school of people that cringes every time we buy a striker that can't run the 100m in Olympic qualifying time. I love a bit of mobility up top. Even I think Carranza looks a decent enough move relative to our current position. Certainly better than I was expecting. I joked but I honestly did think we might offer Bamford like a four year deal. Carranza looks like someone you have to actually create chances for, which is obviously concerning, but he also seems to put a shift in, is strong with decent balance and is an alright technical finisher? Seems fine. Looks Piroeesque.
  23. It's not a good deal, but it's just also not a significantly worse deal than everyone was about to accept. And it looks to me like we were always going to wait to dead line day to do a bit of business anyway? There seems to be a handful of genuinely credible rumours this year which makes a bit of a change for us? Think we'll see at least two come in today, maybe three.
