Can’t sell what no one wants to buy
-
Three managers haven’t had faith in him and he doesn’t fit the profile of striker we’re desperate for. Worth rolling the dice imo.
-
Something needs to change in this game. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. I would go with: Stolarcyzk JJ Faes Coady Kristensen Skipp Soumare Ayew Buonanotte El Khannous Daka Vestergaards lack of pace is a concern as we need to push higher up the pitch. Skipp offers more protection - think Winks has been poor recently. I like Bilal off the left and Buonanotte seems happier starting central. Vardy needs taking out, lacking confidence. Daka is next best option. Gives us Winks, Mavididi and Vardy from the bench

Ultimately, we made a hash of Enzos replacement and I can only imagine him leaving caused us to start again with player recruitment when we again made a hash of. Whatever happens this season we need to have a better strategy moving forward -
I know we did well in the championship last time around but starting with 10 players is a bit cocky
-
I can see a German/italian side come in for Vestergaard. Clubs will be swayed by the fact he’s still an international. Same with Faes. Ndidi and Winks will both have interest as will be relatively low cost.
-
BEK would be unreal in the championship, can see him/agent pushing for a move though. I think Faes, Vestergaard, Mads, VK, Ndidi, Soumare, Winks will all definitely go. Wouldnt surprise me if we try to shift several others.
-
I’ve given up with this season. Plan for the championship now, this squad needs gutting and starting again.
-
We will have an exodus like we did after the last relegation. We will have to build a team around Souttar, Nelson, Woyo, JJ, Skipp and Fatawu. Lots of loans, frees and budget signings. Huge points deduction and financial restrictions. Going to be fun.

We need to centre back to play with Faes. We need Mads and Wilf back. We need a decent attacking sub. We need a new striker as it pains me to say it Vardy is done. Night all. -
Massive, massive game. We will only be 4 points behind them with a win, would be difficult to catch them if gap moves to 10 imo. Tactically I think we can get at them in between their midfield 2 and back 3. With that in mind Bilal and Buonanotte have to start. Creating that box midfield will outnumber them allowing us to run at their back 3. Be brave Ruud, don’t worry about losing - worry about winning.
-
I would still say he’s better than what we have
-
Rumour on Twitter that we’re after Mings on loan. Would make sense as after a left footer
-
Scottish football probably wasn’t the best fit for him. Hard for a cultured midfielder to do much when the ball just goes from back to front all game.
-
Can’t play for more than two clubs in one season
-
At 22 yrs old he should have the engine. Not a speed merchant by any means but wouldn’t consider him slow
-
With regards to system, I am surprised we have swapped the roles of the fullbacks. JJ has played in a back 3 for us before and Kristensen has been used as a wingback for both his national side and Bologna last season. This would allow JJ to tuck in, VK to bomb on and Bilal playing from the left to invert and play alongside Buonanotte as two 10’s. Seems like it solves 3 problems in one go.
-
Needs to be the same team. Got a feeling he’ll bring Ayew in however I believe our best chance of success coincides with Bilal and Buonanotte starting together. If ayew has to start, play him instead of Mavididi
-
I’m all for giving players a chance but this lad looks like a clone of Amartey and Ahmed Musa. Got to be better out there surely!

2018 Helicopter Tragedy - Investigation Outcome/Verdict Released
Jazzy_Jeff replied to Wymsey's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is interesting timing. i would guess that the claim being made would factor in future losses therefore meaning we as a business could be paid the settlement incrementally. I was also imagine that the helicopter was owned by King Power and therefore could be classed as an LCFC loss if used within football business. If we successfully sued the manufacturer and the settlement was paid annually to us (via King Power) this would go on our balance sheet affecting PSR. Could the EPL and EFL have got wind of this and are trying to hit us hard ahead of the conclusion of the case? -
Great post and I agree with your suggestion for our strategy going forward. The only point I would challenge is that the clubs mentioned in your first paragraph are doing ok but I don’t see a lot of ambition from them. Their model keeps their head above water but isn’t going to enable them to challenge the elite. In Forests case, they are having an amazing season and have built a great squad. The reality is that both centre backs and MGW will be sold in the next year or two and they will have to work hard to replace them in order to stay challenging. My issue with PSR is that it kicks teams down as they start to move forward. All of those teams mentioned have and will continue to lose their best players in order to meet rules that simply aren’t fair for competition.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Jazzy_Jeff replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Any manager would have wanted assurances about what we can spend due to the obvious frailties in our squad. RVN has publicly said before that January and the summer were both discussed during negotiations. If he has been lied to I wouldn’t blame him for walking. We would then have a situation where the last three managers (excluding Cooper) have all been lied to about transfer budgets. Not a good look and would severely hinder us attracting managers and players in the future. -
How is it right that there is one window mid-season to sign/sell players and right in the middle of that window is when the PL announce PSR status. If we had known our stance in Dec we could have done business by now
