Couldn't have been worse. Justin brace, the illusion of being unlucky, zero points

That's a very simplistic take -

Well first of all I'd like to know where those added minutes came from -

Er... -
Ayew picked up a knock against Walsall, passed fitness test apparently

No surprises in the XI

I can't see us ever leaving Filbert Street

I would be in favour of future transfer percentages going all the way back down the chain. Players are all FA registered at every age group nowadays, and if you've played a year somewhere aged 13 then that club will have had a major hand in your development. 10 or 20 grand to a grassroots side is a lot of training equipment or a changing room refurb

If we sit in we'll get pumped. We're too prone to errors in the back line and the players for whatever reason don't seem to have the ability to transition like they did last season. I fear we'll see the 9 dropping deeper and deeper to try and get a sniff, and just be plain outplayed in the middle. Not that we wouldn't get pumped if we started our young pacy wingers and tried to take it to them, but at least we might have a chance of scoring. The silver lining is if we go down by 6 or 7, maybe Cooper will get his P45 after we lose at home to Bournemouth. Last season we were all waiting for things to click and us utterly demolish someone. Right now it's waiting for a decent side to properly put us to the sword.

Ah, you must be referring the the highly improbable 5000-1 sporting miracle! Let's rely on another one of those

Sadly I think the most part of the due diligence was asking the question, 'will he come here?'

Unless we can improve these stats...

Your stats are an excellent predictor of future performance over time. Unless you're consistently lucky every week, you will 'regress to the mean'.

Brilliant that was

Why not? No Because we'll play sh1t

The Everton game was a mark against Ayew for me. Missed a couple of decent chances and was blowing after an hour.
-
So did Ryan Bertrand. I think a lot of it past the age of 32 is about being a fixture at a club, knowing the staff, knowing the squad and having a certain position. That mental stuff is a big factor in the way a player turns out on the pitch. All of a sudden you're in a new place and you're not established. Then you're a bit older, a bit slower, and you aren't riding that wave with a bunch of familiar players and suddenly you're a lot less sure of yourself.

Can't remember who it was, maybe Okoli, but he was wasting time at the end and I nearly lost my mind. Fully hanging on for penalties as we got battered in the last ten by League 2 -

I heard he'd tried to end it all just prior after Choudhury misplaced another pass but the belt broke -
Because we are a clownshow?

It's such a shame Kelechi's gone, best spokesman ever

I've seen enough. I was on the fence about Rodgers for too long. You have to stop the rot. Get this ****ing loser out of the door while it's still salvageable.

Ayew is a ****ing donkey. Fatawu has completely lost his mojo. Choudhury was a decent squad option in the Championship but has no place in a PL outfit. I am so angry at the performance. Loose, sloppy, slow. Didn't look like they were interested at all. The cup games should have been the death knell for Rodgers - it was at that point 2 years ago that it became clear he was done, and the club stuck with him until it was too late. We cannot make the same mistake with Cooper. That was absolutely embarrassing. Dire football against a supposedly far inferior opposition. He has to go.
