As long as you keep under 85k in an account it's government guaranteed even if the bank goes down the pan.

Shine a light that was a cock up.

Please set the scoreboard clock to 80 mins...

British gas EV Tariff I'm on is 7.8p/kWh between 0030-0500. Not got the longest cheap rate and a ballache to get on as they demand proof it's for EV use. Shame I have to suffer BG's garbage service but can't really move as it's cheaper than what I can find elsewhere.

Overturn this please

Nothing quite like adorning one's chest with the Appletons.

2.3kg*0.5 = 4.6 (how many 500gs) (4.6*30)+30=168 minutes = 2 hours 48 minutes. F**k did they get 2 hours 54 from? Even playing tunes with the recommended resting and warming to ambient time doesn't do make it align. What really stings is that I'm so gutless and full of self loathing that I've bottled. It and put it on for 2 hours 54. Merry Christmas all!

I quite enjoy dragging the innards out the 'arris for making my gravy.

You keep butter in the fridge? Egg-gate all over again.

Well done @StanSP! The miser in me has to mention December is going to be an extortionate gift month.

Remember my Nan knocking up curried sprouts and cabbage with leftover xmas dinner. Oh the humanity...

The court applied the already existing law that those involved in insurrection aren't eligible to stand for president. Popularity, "not a good idea for democrats" etc. is irrelevant. As young Daggers stated, justification of not applying the law to a populist is supportive of elements of fascism where populism trumps law.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67783970 "European Super League: Uefa and Fifa rules banning breakaway league unlawful, says court" How long before this thing rears it's head again? As detestable as I find the thing, I've always throught it's a matter of when not if.

Made my first ever Roman pizza this evening. Always been a fan of thin crust pizzas so never tried to make one before. Yes it takes 72 hours to make the dough which is a bit of a ball ache, but it was so good. Really really light and just went down without even hitting the sides. Now in a carb coma... Least artistic man on earth so the photos and my pizza dressing are obviously shite but you get the picture!

Quite and was what put the nail into places like Delilah who put a comment on their door when it closed ("sadly nobody is interested in this type of thing" or words to that effect). I despise the word, but there's nowhere "cosmopolitan" in the centre which drives nice restaurants and shops. The closest we have is the Queen's Road upstarts who have their own little shopping/restaurant quarters. Centre is an absolute hole and companies moving here will do nothing for it until there are desireable areas to live in. Having lived on Albion Street and King Street, city centre living is rough and it's just got worse since I escaped to the county (no fault of my own).

Almost as if the Tory rags are trying to distract from other MPs. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/dec/18/tory-mp-miriam-cates-investigated-standards-watchdog "Greenberg is investigating eight MPs, with the inquiries dating back to June. Seven are Conservatives, including Eleanor Laing, the deputy speaker, and Bernard Jenkin. The eighth is the former Tory Andrew Bridgen, who now sits for Reclaim." bUT thEy'Re alL aS BAd as EAcH othER...

Went to The Frame in St. Martins last night and thought it was great. Nice and lively and decent food.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Zear0 replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Been having a good go on Ready or Not. Only played it during early access when it was a bit iffy. They released the 1.0 version of it the other day and it's a massive improvement. Great fun to play with mates and genuinely a successor for Swat 4. -
Never managed to make a homemade patty superior to the Costco burgers.
