  1. Is there a new section?
  2. Don’t forget the weather. The weather was glorious that May.
  3. Normally I’d agree with you. However, seeing how the rules themselves and the intentions behind them are biased in the first place and given how the Premier League and Football League have shown a vendetta against us for years, it’s just so gratifying to see both get one in the eye, caused by them both being too egotistical to talk to each other and agree a set of joined up rules. The authorities deserve the mess they created.
  4. If I was to offer advice on what to ask yourself, I’d say: - Are there any small changes you can implement that would help rather than sweeping changes, such as personally-imposed barriers? - You could set yourself a deadline for things to improve and then stick to that, compartmentalise the situation rather than it being one single, seemingly endless stream of stress. - Do you have any dependants that you support and would be significantly negatively affected by a change in your employment? - If you have a voice nagging in the back of your mind that you should never accept “demotion”, ignore it. If it’s best for you, it’s best for you. (ie accepting a lower wage elsewhere for your own reasons.) I hope things get better soon anyway.
  5. But aside from that?
  6. Kasper made some great saves in the Champions League season, but the one in the FA Cup final is sorely missing from the pre-match video package in my mind.
  7. I’ve never had a Twitter/X account but I genuinely struggle to understand why most of its clientele have stayed there and not migrated to another platform since Musk released the hounds.
  8. I figure the point here is to demonstrate the disparity of Reform voters along with the general disgust in these actions, but it’s a bit of a vague question. Why should the sentences be harsher? (Or more lenient?)
  9. He’s got dropping a platitude then dropping the word “but” well practised.
  10. Professional comedians dream of that setup.
  11. I don’t think having a (this) Labour government will be much different to having a Conservative government for them. My concern is more that they feel enboldened by the talk of there being a crisis of available prison places so there’s less deterrent.
  12. I fully believe a French group with a grudge could and would do it. What I’m struggling with in that case is the lack of a declaration of accountability from such groups. We’re talking planning, organising and coordinating an action here that nobody knows you’ve done and would make you greatly unpopular if they did. Maybe someone will say it’s them in the hours to come. I wouldn’t rule out brainless stupidity when it comes to the far left or far right.
  13. We’ll see whether anyone claims responsibility. If it’s a domestic protest then someone will claim it - no point protesting for a cause if nobody knows what you’re protesting about.
  14. - Disruption rather than outright terrorism - Coordinated - Nobody claiming responsibility - Feels like Russia to me.
  15. It’s a real shame she’s not going to the Olympics. She was a top bet for gold in the horse punching.
  16. There are definitely undecided/persuadable voters in America. Maybe not many percentage wise but enough.
  17. I’m willing to give Boris a pass because of his position on Ukraine and climate change. Someone has to be making the case to Trump and he won’t listen to those who don’t schmooze him. Truss and Farage are another matter.
  18. How on Earth has she managed to still look dodgy even after the body was found?
  19. Without context, I reckon you wouldn’t know whether these are right wingers showing solidarity or left wingers taking the p*ss.
  20. Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence.
  21. $15, three years ago. Frankly the most likely thing from my POV right now is that this is an individual suffering from a mental health crisis, eg voices in his head telling him to kill Trump.
  22. I don’t know what these journalists think they’ll get out of Starmer by asking about Biden’s gaffe. Although the one who asked him about the cricket did miss a trick by not asking whether or not he thought James Anderson was too old to do it anymore.
  23. *Biden, of course. My excuse is autocorrect.
  24. Bidet’s just accidentally introduced Zelensky as President Putin.
  25. Braverman: *Dog whistle politics Jennie: *Pricks up ears
