A great win, and truth be told we could’ve easily had 4/5. They made it very tough for us and that was the hardest game we’ve had so far this season. Had nowhere near as much time on the ball or control of the ball as we would normally have or like. So for me, a great feeling to churn out a win when not at our best against a team that will be top 6 this season. Casadei was the Casadei we’d all heard about tonight. Ref was a twat. Onto the next.

Spurs looking really good. My only question mark over them is their strength in depth, but no European football could help that and they’re already out of the league cup.

What’s been good about the clubs recruitment this summer is that a lot of the signings could play at a higher level than they are. Obviously if we go up, we would need some new signings but not a complete squad overhaul.

His hand is above his head, it’s stopped the ball heading goalwards. A penalty was given against Wolves for Luton a few weeks back and their biggest reason for giving it was because his hand was above his head. So at least they’ve been consistent in this instance.

How could Chris Kavanagh and the officials be the only ones in the ground to not see that was a penalty straight away and have to go to VAR? They got to the right decision in the end but it’s just bizarre.
