  1. 9 years apart, not 45 years. In football terms, 9 years is quite recent (let alone it arguably being the greatest league win in the history of football) and even more so is the 4 years ago that we won the oldest knockout cup in the world. “Forest 25” as fantastic as a season as it’s been and the fans should rightly be loving it, come the middle of next season no-one will remember that they finished in champions league spots even a lot of Forest fans. People will remember Leicester winning the league forever. The unfortunate thing for Forest is that having such a good season will only heighten the possibility of the stars leaving. Murillo, Aina, Gibbs-White will all being watched by the bigger boys. And just for arguments sake, come the end of next season and there’s no European football there, having tasted the champions league these players are going to want it more, Riyad Mahrez a prime example of that for you. League form will almost certainly not be as consistent as this season due to the extra games and we’ve seen that first hand ourselves.
  2. 2 hours to go lads then we can get out on the piss
  3. Basically freestylers/failed footballers isn’t it. I’m sure you’ll actually see some entertaining football to be fair.
  4. The defence being all over the place would be a worry if it wasn’t the managers first game, and there wasn’t two debutants in there. Let alone that’s nowhere near the first choice back four that we would play. With how low a block Albania played there was always going to be so much more space when they broke than to when we did.
  5. What a touch that was.
  6. People already moaning I guess you don’t understand just how hard it is to play against a real compact low block. Centre halves average position is well inside their half. These games will very much seem similar to now we played under Southgate, only difference being we are moving the ball a lot quicker here.
  7. I mean at least you’ve not announced it globally so the club can’t see.
  8. You had the choice to select where it went.
  9. LCFC cannot ruin this weekend or next if you need anymore help.
  10. Big thing for me too.
  11. I would likely say that you perhaps wouldn’t necessarily have to it would just give you that guarantee should we have a good season towards the back end when everyone will jump on the bandwagon.
  12. Shan Masood signs all 3 formats 😎
  13. Exactly. The trust will never challenge the club the way it needs challenging.
  14. Think Coady was a lot to blame for the first goal from memory. Miles up the pitch and missed a tackle.
  15. Yes i will. Won’t bore you with the reasons why.
  16. I think you’ve really missed what I was getting at. The trust and pride quite specifically don’t want to ruin what they have with the club.
  17. A big reason for “terms of action” being minimal is that if you say something the club doesn’t like or want to see, they’ll just ban you.
  18. Sorry, I’d just teleported back to 25/01/95.
  19. I’m not going to do so either, in total honesty because (unfortunately) I love the club and always will do. I’ve been there through the darkest times too, and it makes the good times all that sweeter. Sadly, the good times are a long, long way away.
  20. A brief outburst in the 14th minute that soon dwindled down.
  21. Everyone will have their own reason of course. Most will be blind loyalty. I still go because the lad loves it and luckily enough doesn’t understand the politics of it all and what’s really happening. And whilst that enthusiasm is still there from him I’ll continue to go.
  22. Half agree. But it’s more than that for a lot of people. We aren’t treated as fans anymore. We are treated as customers. The people running the club are failing us. It works both ways and currently they’re very lucky that that ground is still seeing gates of 30k each home game. There is simply no excuse to have teams want it more, work harder and put more effort in than you. Teams currently simply just have to turn up here against us.
  23. I shouted at some bloke who stood there, hands in the air clapping “why the **** are you clapping them!?”. As always I stayed until the end, yet again joked that it was to beat the traffic. Has anyone ever seen Western Boulevard like this after leaving a game at full time?
  24. There’s plenty of people that want to do something about it. But cliques, closed books and people not wanting to damage their “relationship” with the club stops this. The club first and foremost want, and are having it their way or no way which is just plain to see. Anyone that goes against the grain they don’t want. They’re even sending letters out to people they’ve chose to ban telling them they cannot say anything derogatory about the club on social media etc. This once wonderful football club is being ran into the ground by the powers that be, everyone can see it but their global brand/expansion whatever they think they’re building is more important to them. The failings of the board over the last 4 years is absolute catastrophic. The ineptitude and consistency in failing to correct their mistakes is absolutely staggering.
  25. These have scored more goals against us this season than we’ve managed at home in the league.
