Gotta say fantastic result, but Everton have Tarkovwski,Doucoure,Grey,McNeill,Garner, Cody all of which either couldn’t get in their first team or played in teams that got relegated….Frank is on thin ice….13th an looking forward to games with confidence…..
-
I bet forest sid that before Brighton and Liverpool……
-
Agree but I was always told if you don’t concede, you don’t lose…..clean sheets just as important as goals scored…..and we got more tackles and blocks in yesterday than we did earlier in the season….next three (sorry 5) games not easy….but if Forest get four from Brighton and Liverpool, what’s to say we won’t do the same….one thing I do think gets overlooked on here is when we go 2-0 up, the need to push drops off, protect what you’ve got….and I think we have done that very well…..we are in a better place….
-
Ffs scored 10 conceded 0.10 points out of 12……Can’t do much more, and the “dross” were all above us at the time……love this forum
-
Youri,Castagne,Praet….
-
When you are two up, just like the Forest game, the need to push diminishes….thought we restricted Leeds to few clear cut chances, and this without Evans,Maddison and N’didi….can’imagine the mood if we had lost 2-0, clean sheet (again) can’t help thinking your assessment is a bit off the mark Progress is being made….
-
To suggest the club don’look abroad is b*ll*cks….Ranieri, Puel, Sven, and more Kante, Mahrez,Wesa,Fuchs,Huth,Fofana,Kasper…..ffs get real
-
Think the three Belgians really looked a good unit last night, Praet, understandably tired, but saw enough to persevere…..Madders and Evans will be hard to leave out, but Praet and Amartey after two clean sheets for big Dan will also not be easy to drop….big game Sunday…..we weren’t great last night, but ground out a result in just the way we haven’t been….
-
Would imagine Vardy was taken off on Monday with a view to starting on Saturday…..been a bit of a bogey ground of late, shouldn’t be difficult to get the team fired up after Monday….

Kasper... Is it time to go?
Reg Vardy replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yep we lost three games in the last 12…….As I recall Rodgers thought he would sign a replacement as part of the refresh, but funds were pulled…..he left because he wanted to play in Europe, but more importantly he wanted a contract extension/improvement….as it was we got £1m for him, and given the debate about the clubs finances, that probably swung the deal….. -
Can I just ask why wouldn’t he, or for that fact why wouldn’t anybody? A contract is an agreement, the club offered he accepted.Fact.
-
If you pay an average of £75k per week and you have 27 players....you do the maths.....Vardy alone £6,25m per annum.....new training ground, new stand, air travel on its backside for three years and likely to carry on, its no surprise.....likewise gate receipts lets go 32,000 @ £40 £1.28m a FORTNIGHT....that said dozens of clubs are in a similar boat, unless owned by a country....gonna be a long season....

When Have we seen how crap he is?
-
Josh Bowler ffs…..We are getting annoyed after missing out on a Blackpool winger, Gary Taylor Fletcher springs to mind…..
-
Off to the game in a minute….Soyuncu is primarily the reason he isn’t getting picked…..not Rogers…..if Cags is absolutely brilliant every day in training, trust me he’ll be picked…..he isn’t and as a result won’t start. Why would any manager not pick a player that would improve the team……Ronaldo is a case in point right now…..has been unsettling, hasn’t been playing, although they might need him tonight…..because the Manager needs him….
-
So let me get this right, you haven’t seen Cags play for months, Rogers, ex manager of Liverpool and Celtic, Coach at Chelsea, watches him every day….and doesn’t pick him….comedian he might be, but he is better placed than your good self to make that decision….
-
Cags went downhill big time after slotting someone at Bournemouth in that 4-1 thriller…..Rogers watches him daily, along with coaches….I find it unbelievable that if he is brilliant in attitude and training we wouldn’t play him, and find it hard most people on here think they are better placed than the management team…..
-
Forums a bundle of fun this afternoon, saving our energy for tonight’s game…..

Took Jeremiah Boga to take Lookman from somebody we didn’t want into a top class winger…

Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.

Find it odd that at the moment Chelsea are £10 m short of our £80m valuation. We will be on £200k per week, roughly £10m per annum, so if Wes really wants to go, forfeit a years money at Chelsea, sign a five year contract and still earn more than he would by staying at Leicester. He is going, but find it odd both clubs do all the sweating, yet he sits there chuntering about a move when he could make it work simply by playing for the love of it, and not just the money....never going to happen....but in normal give and take business deals fairly simple solution. You want it Wes?Take the pain -

I think the club want to sell Fofana, albeit at the right price....but can't come out and openly admit that.... -

We will have to sell Wes or Maddison.......we have no choice to stay the right side of ffp....... -

I do wonder if people read what’s going on. We have too many players, we are paying them too much money. Somebody (Kasper £140k per week-£7m per annum with one year left, options keep him here for a year let him walk out for free, or let him go with a net income/saving of £8m with £1m fee. ) has to go. Ideally Vesty,Hamza,Perez,Bertrand plus any from Praet,Mendy,Soumare,) should have gone.but the interested clubs either can’t afford to buy them or can’t match the wages…. So gets to a point where squad needs reducing, nobody wants/can afford the latter group, but the clubs than can afford to buy, obviously want our best players…add Wes,Madders,Youri,Barnes to the list and pretty sure they could all be sold….If Wes goes, great as he is, and he will go at some point, and some point fairly soon….Ward is a Welsh international, Iversen is a Danish international…..and the club can’t justify replacing Kasper,so they won’t. The owners are brilliant, prudent, and have stopped the “refresh” for all the right reasons….clearly Brendan has got his head around it, most people on here don’t seem to have. Up the Foxes….let’s get behind the boys tomorrow, Wes or no Wes. Finally the doom on here when Maguire left here was pretty intense, look what happened to him, could add Drinkwater to the list…..
