Man Utd vs LCFC - 19/02/2023 - Match Thread

Faes gives the ball away, Harry plays them on, and it’s Wards fault……really? -
Sky’s business model would not work without football…..that day inevitably will come…..

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at
Reg Vardy replied to Sly's topic in Transfer Talk
Only seen him twice, both in the last fortnight but the winger Clarke at Sunderland has got it…..two goals at QPR, and ran Fulham ragged…..looks the part -
Tbf he said all summer he needed to strengthen the squad, and to his credit the evidence over the last four games would suggest he called it right….if we had had three new players in August rather than a shedload of injuries up to the World Cup, we will never know where we would be. we didn’t sign new players for a reason, that reason wasn’t Rodger’s….I would suggest everyone getting off his back until May…. Saints just sacked Jones…..who will they/would you want if you were a Saints fan.?
-
36 points would have kept you up last year, meaning 5 or 6 wins is enough…based on last weekends result we should do that and a bit more….
-
Not seen a home league victory since October….
-
Our fans should go and read the first ten pages of the match thread……
-
Agree and you are correct Ricardo is 29…..
-
He’s 29 ffs
-
Because he is a fantastic player, great personality to have at the club, and as with any player, this might be his last injury. Risk? For sure but not more than any player. We have just signed a recently injured Souttar ffs,Fofana, Castagne etc etc etc
-
Win this, and avoid Man City, Man Utd and Spurs every chance of a semi final…..Fulham Leeds Brighton Southampton and one of the Luton four home or away we have a decent chance….
-
Anyone watch Lookman last night? 11 in 16….
-
Not saying for one minute he has been any good, but when we signed Vesty, as I recall we needed a centre half….Olise not quite suitable….it is easy after the event we should have signed….weren’t we in for Edouard? Should we have?
-
Can’t stand another 4 days of this, forgive me observing radio silence until Sunday. Come on you Foxes….
-
Absolutely spot on
-
Is the score 0-0?
-
Is this the Leicester forum I am on, as it is lacking supporters…..ffs

Rodger’s picked 8 players on Saturday that have hardly played at all this season, with arguably our biggest game of the season on Tuesday…..we weren’t great, but the team was picked to get us through. They did did just that. Accept it wasn’t great, but on Tuesday we have Ward,Castagne,Thomas, Amartey,Faes,Praet, N’didi, and god willing, Maddison and Soumare all not having played for a week. We go into the Newcastle game with the best we currently have available, that surely is decent management? it’ll be tough Tuesday, we might well get beat, but isn’t there an argument to say so far, Brendan has called this week spot on?
-
Take a very scrappy one nil win right now, just saying
-
Luke Shaw took the first one ffs
-
He was injured the first two games. Why risk him? Rice came off, leaving Henderson and to a degree Phillips as the holding mids, and with other subs (all pretty logical), he wouldn't be suitable had Phillips/Henderson got injured. It made sense to me.......and I agree he might not get a chance, but, if we are 2 up or 1 down with 20 minutes to go on Sunday, then he might well do. England are undefeated without him......can you imagine the Brendan meltdown on here if he tinkered with an unbeaten side? Southgate doesn't need to take a risk, and will be grateful to have him in his locker if needed....fully fit and raring to go.....
-
and don't get injured on Saturday......
-
Do we really think Rodger’s puts any timescale on any injury…..sure the team of experts employed by the club do that job….there really is no limit to what the man is responsible for…..
-
How many outers would take Wolves new manager as a replacement?
