  1. Good post, but it could be argued, Ayew, Daka, Skipp, Ricky P, Faes, Soumare, Thomas, DeCR, Hamza, And four young players are good enough, or want to be here, the term flogging a dead horse comes to mind….those players are not his players…are drawing the do ray me.and clearly lack the mentality needed….but do we really want to go back up? Time to develop kids, give them time, offload deadwood and start again…..
  2. It likely is, and what’s the vision if we did by chance get promoted, are Sunderland, Leeds and Burnley stronger than us….for sure, have we got the funds to buy, sure not…..write it off, offload the players, and assess Marti after seasons end….,there is absolutely no point in us getting promoted, poor ****er had 3 kids, one of whom got sent off, none of whom are ready, plus the rest who want away/are here for the money……
  3. Tielemans let his contract run down…..all players do it (Casemiro anyone) sadly it’s modern football…….we paid £25 mill, and got nothing when he left, he got a wedge signing for Villa, not his fault….Vardy the same, oh and he won us the FA Cup……sure Skippy has the same shooting skills, but I know who I would rather have……..
  4. Love a few dots…..
  5. Chilwell, Tielemans, Perez, Vardy Maddison, all scored in the 9-0 win….compare that to tonight’s line up……we have lost so much quality……and to think on here Tielemans was overweight, Perez overpriced, and Chilwell just pants……we would take every one of them tonight……all good/great players…..come on lads….a win tonight would be brilliant……
  6. We could/should have beaten Coventry and Middlesbrough, we have beaten Stoke…..the top ten teams are at a similar level, Coventry’s goal scoring the exception to the rest….so much stick given on here, our team couldn’t be faulted for effort, and Stoke would be disappointed to leave with nothing……we won today, two in a row, ffs enjoy it
  7. It’s interesting the focus on who was poor today, and Ricky P was, Thomas was marking (imo) their best player, and did ok,a different role to Ricky’s inverted, but Vestergaard was outstanding today, but that doesn’t appear anywhere in here unless I missed it……some positives to take today, and we move on….January is getting closer……
  8. Those ticket revenues are a drop in the ocean…..that’s once a fortnight incidentally…..that business plan needs Premier League tv revenues, and dare I say it European football ( Villa for example)…..sadly we are in the aftermath of new bigger ground, state of the art training facilities, and mid table Championship team …….
  9. Why do we want to? To come back down again? Need to get structure of club in good shape, which require removal of half the squad, replacement, and then go again, pointless going up/playoffs, to repeat last season……build something…..
  10. Only played 15 games……
  11. Certainly has for us….we are blessed….
  12. He was injured but it took 5 minutes and a skinning before the change was made…..
  13. With our loyal support it would be a pleasure for anyone……
  14. Criticism of the Manager has to take into consideration who he (had to) sold, and the loans he made…..as per the earlier email, we are woefully short on strikers, defensive mids and full backs…….none of the changes made yesterday saw any improvement on what went before…we replaced mediocrity with slightly inferior mediocrity…..if we are sacking him….Michael Carrick……would be our 6th Manager in 3 years…..might not want the job mind…..
  15. Based on what I watched yesterday. Who is our goal scorer? Who is our defensive midfield player Who are our full backs? What is our/best formation? Not sure there is an easy answer to any of those fairly simple questions
  16. Is that Shiite Wrexham that we drew with?
  17. You could argue we are undergoing drastic changes What if this business plan fails? Top and his associates aren’t skint but he has to comply with PSR requirements…. Question 2 needs answering.
  18. How many football clubs make a profit of the 92 league clubs? And Season tickets, gate receipts and. Hospitality are diddly squat income in the grand scheme of things……….I bet we lose money on the club shop, women’s football, academy……
  19. No it’s not, I have a choice, that I will make as I see fit…..it was the EFL who struck the deal, we are 1/24th of that decision….reference changing landscape, it is cheaper for me to have a season ticket, with the option to attend or not, than buy tickets on an ad hoc basis…..now not got there yet, but an empty seat isn’t good for anyone, and I have already quoted elsewhere on here, Oxford at home on a freezing Saturday in January, might we’ll see me sat watching it on Sky plus….I don’t agree with that, but the club, the team, Sky, the economy will have an influence on my decision….
  20. I renewed, missed two so far though illness……it is a changing landscape watching your team, regardless if you think the owners are shite, but won Premier League and FA cup, neither of which I thought I would see in my lifetime, (I am 68) yet they are considered shite…..the changing landscape id Sky featuring so many Foxes games on Sky plus, that the need/ cost of a season ticket has diminished…..that said a concession season ticket is £420, I pay £200+ for sky every month, probably better to go to games and cancel Sky……at the end of it, you either want to go or you don’t, pretty simple, no team wins every game, (Liverpool?)and it’s rare the opposition get praise on here when both Wrexham and certainly Portsmouth deserved their point…. I have never heard so much talk of grass roots football….if you like it keep going……enjoy it…..
  21. We were linked with Diallo whilst at Sunderland, and Adam Wharton prior to signing for Palace, Andy Robinson when he was at Hull…..
  22. Brendan might be available….
