  1. he scored 6 in the championship last season....rather him than Ayew or BDR
  2. I get its awful, but Championship next season, Alves, Nelson, Mcateer, Bilal, Monga. Fatawu, Mavadidi, young, talented quick....we do have some reasons to be cheerful.....
  3. Have to say club can't be right for being wrong here...if we sack him and pay him we are wrong, if we keep him and sack him with no payment in July (not 100% certain) we are wrong.....it is an absolutely sh*t situation, that we have created ourselves.....but then 95% of people on here wanted Cooper gone, most thought Van Nistelroy was a "decent " appointment, clearly the club (and most of us) got it wrong. We need to fire him...... It is clear (Currently Winks, Skipp, Vesty, Ayew, BDR, Casey, Mavadidi not getting a look in- have all obviously fallen out......) the dressing room are royally ****ed off with him....get him gone! On the day I need to make my season ticket decision.....so much to look forward to!!
  4. How is the team other than KDH, any different to the one that got promoted last season? Fatawu will be back, Bilal is as good as anything we had last year, Mavadidi, Winks,Vesty and Skipp (Under a new Manager) will be good players at that level. Think Vards has run his race (One season contract, lower wages-he probably would turn down), Daka needs to go Prompts the question, do we really want to be in the Premier League, all of the last six promoted teams have come straight back down the very next season. Statistically hard to argue against....obviously won't be easy, but can't rule it out with a proven Manager....
  5. so lets get this right, we get £10m+ for Maresca and backroom staff, pay Cooper off, likely pay Ruud off, in under a Calendar year.....absolute shambles....
  6. You'll only get what someone is prepared to pay......
  7. Digital tickets are fine, just need to start doing it, and it becomes clear. And don’t get too hung up on profit from resales, there’s a ticket office, call handler, rates, lighting heating, wages…..and they don’t sell them all ( look at last night) I hope (think) they’ll make ticket sharing more flexible next year. Accept I’ll get slaughtered fo this but 23 games for £440 is incredibly cheap….it’s £12 to watch Stamford….
  8. Sad thing is they should be a lot more suited to that level……decent Championship players….admittedly probably for a single season…..
  9. I might be the only one, but, I believe the club pressure renewals early, before the squad has been "refreshed," leaving the possibility (This season?) of buying a ticket to follow an inferior squad, below the standard to be competitive whatever division we are in. Can see the renewal campaign starting next month, and we support a club to be entertained and excited (not win every game), which hasn't happened yet.....I know dozens who are considering what to do next season...if (when) we are relegated, most matches will be Friday night, Saturday lunchtime or Monday night..... I have to admit, the pricing for existing ST holders (over renewing a few years on) is what keeps me there.....almost to the point of buying one, and going when it fits.....admittedly not ideal for me or the club......
  10. In February 2020, we were 3rd in the Premier League 2 points behind Manchester City.......with Liverpool top......what we have done actually takes some doing......
  11. On the face of it made a profit on a player who never really cut it, can the club do anything right? Right decision…..
  12. Snap their hand off....
  13. Yeah they've got Bassey and Castagne........both rubbish
  14. Looks like Hamburg are going to take him
  15. granted Faes should have cleared, but both goals ultimately were down to him yesterday….
  16. Harsh, our best player today…..
  17. Suggests to me he, therefore, didn’t want the job…..
  18. And can we accept Potter didn't/doesn't want the job.....he has gone a mighty unusual route to get it if does....
  19. Gotta play everyone twice…..logic says we play Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle,Villa, Man U….that’s 16 games with realistically no return, meaning the other 20 need to supply the points…..we are on a point a game, have a better chance based on points gained than, Saints, Ipswich Wolves…..they need to win10/11 of their remaining 28 games, some have won none in ten, some one in ten…..we have done ok….and it does remind me of Forest when they came up under Cooper
  20. Is it me or is paper over the cracks becoming the key phrase on FT? We have played 10 games We have 10 points There is enough to suggest a point a game might be our average ppg That gives us 38 points if we continue What was our expectation at the start I would suggest with what we have we are doing ok. Oh and Jordan Ayew is doing fine
  21. so played three of the clubs below us, all away…5 points out of nine…..unbeaten…..just saying
  22. One presumes Ipswich were no better? Massive point 8/9 wins required
