Really is a struggle.

I just don’t see it as cut and dry as most people on here. Fury absolutely dominated the first half of the fight and was taking the mick in the process. Had some terrible news just before the fight and just didn’t seem that arsed about it. This time he seems more focused than I’ve ever seen him for a fight and it was an incredibly close split decision in the end. I honestly think fury will take him out before midway. If it goes the distance then will be very close again.

I’ve backed Juve and villa recently against Man City because the odds looked like they’d been priced as if Man City were still good. They were a shade over even money today to win at villa park. Villa were 9/4. They’ll probably be 1/3 to beat us but even with us knowing how awful we are nobody in their right mind could take that kind of price on Man City at the minute.

The big teams would be out and take all their money with them, so hopefully a hard reset for the teams that remain to redistribute things more evenly. Can hope.

Don’t think it’s a vendetta against him at all, just factual he’s done some pretty questionable things and has a pretty limited football ability for this level.

Echo a lot of people, I really hope it happens so football can be back on a more level footing.

Thing is Max is undoubtedly incredibly fast, I don’t think there would be any danger of many if any drivers on the grid outperforming him over a season so why don’t they just get the fastest guy available next to him? If you had a guy who was competitive with max this year they’d have walked the constructors and the prestige and financial reward of that must outweigh any potential albeit unlikely in team struggles.

Then why don’t the officials just say as much and put it all to bed? The interviews I’ve seen with the people in charge of these things are very ambiguous and don’t want to commit to what is going on, if it was as simple as that wouldn’t they just say as much?
