We have had enough injury issues recently as it is, we can't just run our star players into the ground when they have just been missing training with injuries

Would still be in this years accounts if we sold him this summer as long as it is before the end of June like we did with Maddison (and Forest didn't do with Johnson) The season finishes on 4th May, we would have nearly 2 months post-season to get a deal sorted if we needed to

Could also mean the difference between promotion or not because if we are financially knackered we aren't going to be able to spend much if any of it on quality reliable replacements for what we get from KDH Going up and getting a 10 point deduction is financially safer for the club than being stuck in the Championship for at least another season

I don't think it would make better sense to sell now at all when a deal for KDH could massively derail chances of promotion
