Won the 2nd division of Japan at the first attempt with FC Gifu, wasn't quite as easy as I thought it would be but still a comfortable points gap to 2nd Around 10 games before the end of the season I actually got offered and accepted the job for a team already in the 1st division of Japan called Cerezo Osaka They finished the season in the bottom half but have some of the biggest transfer budgets and wage budgets and about 4th highest rep in Japan - triple that of what I was going to get with FC Gifu even after promotion - so had to take it Been with them for about a month now and in the pre-season transfer window I have gone back to raid FC Gifu a few times for players and staff...

Monday could be fun “New guidelines introduced by the Premier League meant all clubs had to submit their accounts for 2022-2023 by December 31, rather than March. Any breaches and subsequent charges will be confirmed this coming Sunday (January 14) — although the rules state this should be on the next working day, meaning Monday is more likely.” https://theathletic.com/5194769/2024/01/11/ffp-premier-league-deadline-breaches-punishments/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=twitterfc&source=twitteruk

Just going to end up hanging around until the summer isn’t he http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-need-big-effort-get-leicester-city-man-month-needs-convincing-transfer/ A potential move for Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet is seen as difficult for Royal Antwerp this month, despite the Foxes being willing to sell. That’s according to La Dernière Heure, relayed by Voetbal Nieuws, who says the Belgian club would have difficulties getting a deal done. A report earlier this week claimed that Antwerp were showing concrete interest in Praet and had already contacted Leicester to ask about a deal and his potential terms. That report also claimed that they might have to wait until the end of the month to get a deal done as Leicester were holding out for the time being. La Dernière Heure have now seemingly followed that up, explaining that the transfer is ‘quite complicated’ for Antwerp. They explain that the Belgian champions are not ‘well off financially’ at this moment in time and have lost sporting boss Marc Overmars, who has been handed a suspension over inappropriate behaviour at Ajax. That does not make transfer matters this month easy and there is also competition from Torino for the midfielder as well. Then there is the player himself, who would reportedly rather wait until the summer, when he is a free agent and can secure more favourable terms, than move at this moment in time. Thus, it appears Antwerp need to put a lot of effort in if they’re to get their man, with a whole lot of convincing needed for this transfer to happen at any point in the coming weeks.

Only world class managers like Ben Petty use midgets as lone strikers
-
I do wonder if we might be doing a deal with them where we are happy to cancel the loan for Thomas as long as they take Ward on loan
-
Can’t imagine we will manage to sell him this window (unless maybe Leeds come back in for him) so hopefully we just find some Championship club to loan him to He won’t get a single minute if he stays here
-
We should only really get one this window if one leaves permanently/on loan as I really don’t think we can carry 5 strikers from Feb onwards when we only play with 1 There is a chance one or both of Iheanacho and Daka are back with us before the end of the month as well so would only be missing Cov, Ipswich and Hull/Birmingham

Currently earns about £35k a week and would cost £2.5m http://sportwitness.co.uk/leicester-told-need-e3m-sign-midfielder-january-still-lot-work/ Calciomercato.it bring the latest on the situation, and explain that, for the time being, Leicester have only made an ‘enquiry’ for Sensi. The Foxes are ‘waiting to see’ if they can further the talks at a later date, especially since the midfielder isn’t convinced just yet. He, for now, ‘prioritises’ staying in the Italian league, but will be available at a rather affordable price for interested parties. Inter Milan, by selling him, would be getting rid of €2m in wages, and also want around €3m in compensation for him to be sold.
