Yep. India have been the better team in 80% of the play across the series, including when they lost at Headingley. -

Crawley out in identical fashion to how he was out in the second innings at Edgbaston. Dear oh dear. -

Huge game today. Come on you Foxes! Any news on whether Rehan can bowl? -

Yeah, though with Durham losing and Lancs likely to lose, at least the top 2 have been brought back into the pack. To finish in the top 4, we'll probably need to win all 3 remaining fixtures or at least win 2 and boost our NRR by winning those games by big margins. -

Shame Worcs won at Derby. Means they're still in the hunt ahead of Sunday's game. -
Love watching this PSG team; lots of young, likeable players, who work as a team and play exilerating football.

Riyad was much more of a success at Man City than Grealish. He was a very important player for them.

Too often it seems that the most economical bowler on the day doesn't get given the chance to bowl his full allocation. -

Really big game for us today. Hopefully Rehan will be fit enough to bowl as he is a match winner with the ball in this format. -
We've gone back 15 years as a club.

When we have these endless threads, do they ever end with the player or manager in question signing?!

Our form has fallen off a cliff in the last week. Totally and utterly outclassed today. But you look at their team on paper, compared to ours, and it's probably no surprise. -

Some utterly brain-dead decision making by our batsmen here. -

We have to acknowledge that in what has been an amazing season so far, this has been a truly hideous 3 days. Being bowled out twice in only 120 overs on a dead pitch with a pudding of a ball is the sort of thing we thought we'd put behind us. With the weather forecast tomorrow, had we batted with some resolve after lunch, we could have easily nicked a draw, despite being outplayed, but the team was so weakened by absences and mental fatigue we just collapsed again. Anyway, we need to keep things in perspective and regroup now. We bounced back from a similarly horrific defeat against Yorks in the T20 and let's hope we can do the same this time. The worrying thing is that we are running out of players; and I think this match has shown that our back up players are nowhere near the quality of our first XI players. We need Ahmed, Holland, Scriven, Mike and Hull back as soon as possible, or things could be derailed quickly. -

Agree. Fully expected we would dig in 2nd time around, especially as we batted so long this morning for the loss of only 1 tailender. It's like the batsmen don't have the fight when there is no chance of winning. -

Surely we'll look to get him back after the break for the T20. -

I don't understand why we have so many injuries, compared to other teams. Is it a conditioning issue? If we have to field a similar team to this in the T20, we can kiss our chances in that goodbye. Would be such a shame if the season was derailed by injuries. -

This is pitiful from our batsmen. Really disappointing. -

So disappointing from him when you look at the efforts from the 3 tailenders this morning. -

I get the point that we're down to the bare bones for this match but the position we're in has in large part been self-inflicted. The team we've selected is simply not balanced - we're playing only 4 frontline batsmen, one of whom plays in a 20/20 style. And on top of that, we inexplicably chose to put Middlesex into bat, when we had the chance to bat ourselves and control the game. Batting would also have given our bowlers a much-needed extended rest after they were flogged for 125 overs in Glamorgan's second innings - asking them to go again after we'd won the toss just made no sense, especially given the conditions and the fact we're using the Kookaburra ball. Let's hope the chasing pack don't take advantage as we're likely to pick only 2 points up from this game. -
