Get in, JJ. His first goal for Wales.

Sounds fishy to me.

As vile as it sounds, we're surely all Leeds today? Another defeat for F*rest and they'll be starting to get cut adrift. -

I don't care what team Marti selects from now on so long as none of Ayew, Skipp and Soumaré are playing. The improvement yesterday when Skipp and Ayew were withdrawn was seismic. -
Probably the best we can field, sadly. Not picking Skipp and Ayew is a must.

Very happy with the win but still want the manager gone. For 2/3 of the game that was a largely hideous performance against a team horribly out of form and low on confidence. This guy will never get us anywhere near promotion. -
Dire. We just aren't able to control possession and build pressure.
-
Cos he is sh1t?
-
I've given up with Marti now. Nothing will get better with him in charge.

Norwich (A) - Pre-Match Depression Chat

Agree. I've been racking my brain all morning thinking of how we can field a good line up with the players we have available. It's really difficult! I think I'd probably go for this: Bego Okoli Vesty Nelson Ricardo Winks James Aluko Fatawu Mavididi Monga -
He is but it is also fair to say that it has taken him a long time to get it right at Derby. They won 1 of their first 10 this season, culminating in being totally outplayed in a defeat at Oxford. Since then they've won 4 (likely to be 5 on the trot). Maybe that gives us some hope, too?

Norwich (A) - Pre-Match Depression Chat

Marti is so clueless I can see him starting with the same XI we played against Boro, as despite being abysmal we almost got a rare win. He actually praised Skipp’s performance in his post match interview! -
A Norwich win seems inevitable today.
-
He's clueless. Bottom half championship manager.
-
Playing that way can only be justified if you grind out a horrible win. And we couldn't even manage that. Against 10 men we couldn't even just pass the ball around and kill time with an extra man. Awful game management.
-
I think it is that. If so, with Okoli at FB, I hope the club will be giving fans in the first 10 rows a crash helmet.
-
Are we certain this is a 352? It could be the usual 4231 with Ayew at LW and Okoli at RB. I hope I'm wrong of course!

Skipp and Thomas And please tell me we're not playing Okoli as a RB.
-
Yep. He can't win at the minute but the alleged selection of Silko Thomas at LWB is a real left field one, I think.
-
Did he really get pelters, though? I think it was more people saying (rightly in my view) that he clearly looks promising but isn't quite ready for the physicality of Championship football as a starter. Even Pipes on RL made this point. I think there is a danger that people conflate constructive assessment with 'hating on' players.
-
Last week at Millwall we had players costing a combined total of around £90m on the bench.
-
At least they have hope, unlike us, because they're not about to be hammered by a points deduction and, once they do finally get the right manager, they are financially strong enough to back him well. There is no light at the end of the tunnel for us at this point.
-
If people think this is bad they're in for a shock as I fear this is only the start. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
