Was part of an excellent PL team in his early days with us but serious injuries have blunted his development and effectiveness. This move is good for all concerned: it gives him a fresh start in the PL, allows us to get another very high earner off the books, and might enable us to hold on to players who are more important to our chances of success this season. -

Bit harsh on Coulibaly. -
Seems a bizarre signing in retrospect but at the time we were all saying that we desperately needed a RB as at that time JJ was having a total nightmare and Ricky P was injured (again).

Not feeling at all confident after these 2 games. Need a massive improvement.
-
Plus we have Souttar back soon hopefully.

Lost our way completely here. Trevaskis eating up so many balls without scoring. -

Just downloaded this for my overnight trip back from Canada tonight. Very happy! -

Everton can do one. Spawny gits should have been dumped into the Championship years ago. -

Totally agree. The current Blast format is too long and there are too many meaningless fixtures. -
I think we'll go a lot stronger than lots of the suggested line ups. Marti will be keen to build a winning momentum early in his reign.
-
Agree. Don't mean to be arrogant but if Kone would rather chase more wages at a club like QPR than play in front of 30k plus every week and train in a £100m training facility then he really isn't the one for us.
-
I think there is a very good chance that we don't pay a single transfer fee during this window. Just loans and free transfers.

Not sure that Eskinazi is really an upgrade on what we have. Very average red ball player and getting on as well. -
That was last season and he played the final few games for Oxford.

People keep saying that Nelson has been injured but it wasn't a major one and he seems perfectly fit from what I can see. Very disappointed he is not starting.
-
I would bloody hope we were going for a win at home against a team who are favourites for relegation and down to 10 men!!
-
Utterly embarrassing in every sense.

Good recovery but we look a little short here. -

Gutting that we're again selling one of our prized assets to a club who we were miles ahead of only a few years ago. But wish Mads all the best. Top keeper. -

I keep worrying that Cox is going to leave. Would be a real shame, if so. He's been great for us. -
Young is a player who I have totally irrational dislike of. Would be great to see him have to face Abdul for 90 minutes! Still grinds my gears that for some unfathomable reason, Cooper decided against unleashing Abdul against him last season.

Not from 2018. We were brilliant in the first half of the 2019/20 season, winning 12 out of the first 16 games. You could argue that we were never the same after the 17th game that season, when we drew at home to bottom of the table Norwich.

They were saying he might have tweaked his hamstring. Hopefully nothing too serious.
