Some of the negative comments about Soumaré in the match thread before the game just blew my mind. He was excellent again today. People need to understand he's not a CDM, which is why he'll be even more effective if we get Ndidi back alongside him. His ability to drive with the ball and ability to take the ball under pressure and move it on is going to be crucial for us moving forward.

I was willing to give him a chance but I'm now convinced he's out of his depth or, if we're being kind, not suited to the circumstances.
