We might as well fold and go down in style if it gets done tonight

Aiyawatt looks like he’s shat his pants

Snap!

Ricardo’s decline has been so sad to see. Be he shouldn’t have had extension after extension and we never really replaced him. Good one lads
-
Yea doesn’t even look half full
-
His contract is up

James has looked a bit timid recently as well. Almost like he’s either still injured or know his time here is coming to an end

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

Surely not… 🤣 Aiyawatt’s credibility is at an all time low and only going in one direction, but that is something the thicko’s who “support the famleh” could level with as being totally unacceptable. While it will be expensive, it’s also attractive to potential buyers and it’s also the way out of the holes he’s dug for us as we need a pipeline of top youth talent. -

In this article it says the board think the squad is worth £200m - though not clear if that is the current squad. It also think it says the whole squad would need to be sold in order to cover the financial black hole. However the transfermarkt website has the squad value at €145m, but that includes loan players and those out of contract. When you take those out, the value is estimated at €105m. I’m also not clear on how realistic some of these valuations are for a club in our situation. I guess it is another way of saying that even if we sold everyone we’re still ****ed. -
Didn’t he sign an extension as well? I presume the thinking was to protect the value of an asset that was ageing and crap 🤣

The whole squad will be up for sale and it will be interesting to see who we can shift and for what price. I’m thinking of offering a £50 voucher for a Spanish tapas restaurant of Rudkin’s choice for Fran Vietes.

Can anyone see a situation where we don’t go to League Two as a minimum? We are leveraged to the hilt, have loans on extortionate interest rates based on PL income, we will breach, incur points deductions, go into admin, further points deductions. I also think the EFL have on paying back creditors - including owners. So even if Aiyawatt did stay to cover losses it’s not going to bypass further sanction. And that’s not even talking about probably being unable to sign players, not realise full value for the players we can sell (as we will be desperate), and anyway who’d want to sign for us or even manage us? We shouldn’t underplay how bad this is going to get, potentially an extinction level event. A best case scenario is starting from scratch… -

Reading some of these posts it really does hit home how many of us saw this coming years ago (particularly around contracts and characters) though perhaps not reaching these depths. I’ve had many people today asking me about it all, and I’ve accepted and come to terms with it to the point where I don’t care and if anything I look forward to the challenge it presents (assuming we don’t go bust). It’s been so obvious for some time, and many of us saw this sort of decline coming years and years ago. I can’t be bothered to dig out mine and others posts/threads, but they exist. I think as well part of me also hopes Aiyawatt stays around in the short term, as he needs to personally cover the losses that he alone is responsible for. If he leaves and we aren’t able to pay the bills (irrespective of PSR breaches) then we really are up shit creek. So is the best outcome he stays to pay for his **** ups and then we go again with new ownership? I’m as KP out as anyone I might add, but just asking the question…
-
I wonder if he’s worked out what’s wrong yet? He should come to speak with some of us as I’m sure we’d be happy to inform him!

“Robbed” basically means Patson Daka can’t hit a barn door and is just another way of saying we can’t finish or take chances. You don’t get goals for nearly scoring, it’s generally considered to be quite an important part of the game that we are terrible at on a consistent basis. Hence why we’re not very good.
-
I think all this needs to come out. As supporters who pay our hard earned money we deserve to know in forensic detail what’s gone on. I don’t think it would surprise anyone to hear there are nobheads in the first team. It’s so obvious from body language and behaviour, and that translates into performances.
-
Are there positives to this situation? There must be but I’m struggling to think of any expect the obvious ones like certain contracts coming to an end. Though I must say I’m looking forward getting stuck into the Football Manager version where we’re in League One and I can rebuild the club 🤣
-
Sounds credible. I hope the club don’t read this forum because you may have identified him from the details you’ve given!
-
Possibly, but at least the effort levels will go up.
-
You can just imagine this going on with the characters we sign. Utter utter *****. How reliable is the sauce?
-
I see rat boy Rudkin is getting in on the act…
-
We will keep on a death spiral while KP, Aiyawatt and Rudkin are in charge so I think it’s very very possible

What’s gone on is far too laughable to be taken seriously. Stop caring and laugh it off. Makes it easier. Can’t wait to listen to this one!
